I'm Just A Little Black Rain Cloud
Well we're all back at school and right back into the thick of it. I'm swamped with work thanks to the NEWTs coming up and Professor Vector being in a horrible mood, she's loading us all down with more homework than ever! My bookbag broke on the way from Transfiguration today just from all the books I have to carry now. I don't know how Hermione does it every day!

So tonight I have to study for Potions and Charms and Arithmancy not to mention Muggle Studies and Spellwriting. And I know the other Ravenclaw won't like it but I really need to practise for Magical Music. My instrument is the flute and I'm real close to being able to charm animals with it and over Easter I was talking to Charlie about maybe going to work with dragons after leaving school, and he says they need more Charmers because the dragons really like music! And he said my Quidditch training would come in handy especially as a Seeker because they need good flyers around dragons. So I really want to do well in that class! Professor Metronome says I have potential but then again she said that to Pridget Throbblefoote and she couldn't play her guitar if she had extra arms. My final project is to put a Fwooper to sleep with my flute. Ron said I should just hit the bird over the head with it and that would do the trick. Then Ginny hit him. That was funny.

Okay I had better go and find Ginny, I'm going to help her with her Charms and Hermione might be there and she said she'd help me with my Arithmancy (I think Hermione should be a Mathemagician when she leaves school!) and then we were all going to help Neville with his Potions. I like sitting with the sixth-years more and more because they're not as stuck-up as some of the other people in my grade, because they're only doing their OWLs and they're not always prattling on about what they're going to do for a living. I don't much care that Charlotte Thumbfumble is going to go work in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts office and she has told me at least three times today. I'm surprised she doesn't wear her offer letter around her bloody neck!

And speaking of stuck-up there was the strangest thing in the Great Hall at breakfast and at lunch today. There was this little black rain cloud hovering over the Slytherin table and for a second I thought it was just my eyes but then Draco Malfoy got up to leave and it followed him! It just floats over his head and it'd actually be sort of cute if he didn't look so angry. He passed by the Gryffindor table and the raincloud turned purple and thundered but when someone laughed and got zapped by lightning! It's so odd but then again everything is odd in this school so I should just not even ask I suppose. Still it was funny because with everything that's happened I can't think of anything better than a rain cloud following Malfoy all over the place. I bet he got cursed. Ha ha ha.

Right time to go find Ginny!
