As per Professor Dumbledore's request, I am making my introduction to this community. However, I cannot say I fully endorse this decision. Personally, I have always prefered my privacy, and therefore, my posts may be sparing. We shall see.

More importantly I would like to remind all students that my classroom (and thus, the tower where it is located) is strictly off limits when classes are not in session (unless teacher supervision is acquired. I will provide a sign up sheet for those interested in using the room outside of class of times I am available.) Also, I strongly advise all teachers to take more serious action when punishing students for wandering around after hours. A slap on the wrist simply shall not suffice. There are some very sensitive items kept in the tower that would be both expensive to replace and severely interfere with some of my research if damaged. I know that I am not alone on this matter. I implore that Professor Dumbledore and Mr. Filch find a more effective means of enforcing the student curfew as I can not be expected to guard the tower 24 hours a day.
