The Bay of Pigs
First things first. I called a conference with Dumbledore, McGonagall, Sprout and Flitwick. As heads of house we needed to formulate a plan to improve Potter's performance. I have to say that I presented a good case for taking the action that I did.

If indeed Potter is to be the savior of the wizarding world, then he should learn to stand on his own feet and not to merely "get by" on his courses. As it is, he is relying too much on his friends to help him with his homework and his practicals.

I almost feel sorry for Minerva. Even she could not deny that Potter's marks in Transfiguration were dropping. She even whispered to everyone present that Gregory Goyle was earning better marks. We were all astounded. Obviously, I am not the first to notice this alarming lack of effort from Potter.

So, I put into action Isolate Potter. It is obvious that Potter has never given any consideration to any authority figures save the headmaster. However, it is unrealistic to have Albus monitor every single move that Potter makes, so perhaps peer pressure will work where authority does not.

For every infraction that Potter makes, someone else will pay for it. Now, I will not go so far as to make these detentions or extra essays too daunting. However, knowing students as I do, even writing a couple sentences on a piece of parchment is inconvenient. I have this with the full, albeit reluctant, cooperation of everyone present. The first to be hit with this plan will be Hermione Granger. She showed an incredible amount of cheek for trying to berate me for my own journal entry. She should know when NOT to argue with a teacher. In fact, I have made a list of students that will pay for Potter's foul ups.

List:
Hermione Granger
Ron Weasley
Lavender Brown
Parvati Patil
Neville Longbottom
Seamus Finnigan
Dean Thomas
Ginny Weasley
Colin Creevey
The rest of Gryffindor
Hufflepuff House
Ravenclaw House

Right. You, Snape, have officially lost what was left of your moth-eaten mind. Or perhaps the early onset of dementia is to blame for your inane scheme to take out your misguided agression on Harry for the "sins" of his father. What possible good will it do to punish other students in lieu of Harry? Albus cannot have agreed to this. Rest assured I WILL be talking to him.

Oh, by all means talk to Albus. In fact, while you're at it, you can talk to McGonagall, Sprout and Flitwick. I made myself perfectly clear. If Albus cannot bring the boy under control, (i.e., sneaking out of school to see a quidditch match), and you cannot bring him under control, then perhaps peer pressure will work. You'll find that the five of us agreed on this course of action.

And your picture that you posted to the community? Totally unneccessary. You have gone too far, even for you.

Somehow I doubt all were in agreement; I suspect you bullied your way through as is your wont. I will speak to the headmaster.

As for my picture, it certainly took you long enough to repsond to that, Severus. Took you that long to come up with that feeble retort, did it? You're slipping. Or perhaps you were busy with it for a while first...

Yes, don't bother to point out my crudeness once again. You're becoming tiresome.

Oooohhhh...who's the big bad Black that's going to go to the Headmaster? I look forward to the result of your conversation with Albus. And no, I didn't use bully tactics. Are you implying that the Headmaster can be bullied? Oh ye of little faith.

Oh! Did I not respond to your pictorial post quick enough for you? Are you so prone to low self-esteem that the bad Snape didn't compliment you? Are you threatened that angels didn't fall over themselves in order to pelt you with rose petals? I think you give yourself too much credit.
