Excuse me, but.
All I've heard all sodding day are rubbishy theories on why classes are cancelled the week before Valentine's Day. I, for one, don't think it's so we can all have time to catch up on schoolwork, and I don't think it's so we can all sit around and cut out paper hearts to each other either. Does anyone actually know why we have a week off? Are we allowed to go home during that week? Is there something special going on? Anyone?

Dunno; all the teachers are keeping awfully mum about it. And I get the distinct impression that some of 'em don't even know themselves. It's all awfully mysterious.

I don't think anyone really knows what's going on, Ginny dear, except perhaps the headmaster and Professor McGonagall, and you know how much the teachers like to keep us students in the dark. I can't help but wonder if they don't sometimes just do it out of sheer amusement.
