Current mood: disappointed

Attn.
Due to the disgusting display of cheating from both teams at yesterday's Quidditch match, Gryffindor and Slytherin will re-play this match next Saturday.

I would like to remind all of you that the use of wands is strictly forbidden on the Quidditch pitch. All players will be checked for wands prior to Saturday's match. I do not know why any of you brought your wands to the pitch yesterday. The following students will see me at approximately 07.25 Monday morning to be assigned detention: Millicent Bulstrode, Audrey Bysmal, Daisy Clarence, Murdoc Gross, Brooke Haydt, Benjamin Herder, Andrew Kirke, Natalie MacDonald, Draco Malfoy, Evan Landgreen, Harry Potter, Graham Pritchard, Ginny Weasley and Ronald Weasley.

I would also like to say that I am especially disappointed in Gryffindor. Never in my years at Hogwarts have I seen such a foully-played Quidditch match. As your house head, I am utterly appalled that you resorted to these tactics. Madam Hooch and Professor Sinistra are recovering adequately, but I expect each member of the Gryffindor Quidditch team to send both professors a written apology, both for your flagrant cheating and for endangering them.

I am not impressed, Hogwarts.

Sorry, Professor. Really sorry!

Prove it on the pitch next Saturday, Weasley.

We will, Professor.

Why will you be checking us for our wands, Professor? We're allowed to have them on the pitch if we don't use them.

While this is true, Malfoy, we at Hogwarts have the right to set the rules for our own Quidditch matches. After the shocking display of cheating yesterday, there will be no wands allowed on the pitch this coming Saturday. I suggest that you leave your wand in your dormitory if you do not wish for it to be confiscated.

Why wasn't a rematch called before I caught the Snitch, Professor? It had been five hours, after all.

This decision was made by the House Heads and the Headmaster, Malfoy. We were not given the opportunity to discuss what was to be done until the match was complete.
