Your old mumpsimus for my new sumpsimus.
It has been a most overwhelming time at the Ministry of Magic lately, as some of you have undoubtedly guessed! There has been quite a bit of tidying up to do after the recent incidents in the Wizarding World. This is quite an imbroglio! Have no fear, however: the Ministry is still on the look-out for Peter Pettigrew. I myself have been drawn right into the thick of it! Minister Fudge has come to the conclusion that I am an expert in this area, as the man was once my pet. How odd, that things would turn out that way. C'est la vie!
I do, in fact, have a reason for posting to the community this evening. It seems that some of the pupils at Hogwarts have been in a state of restive anticipation since Pettigrew's escape from Azkaban. There is no need to be fatuous. It is quite Sisyphean to worry about such a thing, particularly during this time of year when O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s are impending. The Ministry of Magic certainly would not allow anything to happen to the castle. We do not believe that Pettigrew would head there; however, if it would alleviate the worries of some of the more stentorian pupils, we may send a man to the castle to keep things tip-top. In fact, I myself may send a man over this week. I do hope that this helps to assuage the worries at Hogwarts.
