Professor Black has been seriously injured in an accident and is currently resting comfortably in the hospital wing. Mme. Pomfrey is tending to his injuries and the prognosis is good. Visitors are not allowed at this time, so please refrain from making nuisances of yourselves.

Student body at large: Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons are cancelled Monday and Tuesday this week. Revision assignments are posted outside the DADtA classroom for each Year; please check it for your assignments. Regular classes will resume Wednesday as usual, and the parchments will be due at that time. This is a for-credit revision; house points will be deducted for sub-par work.

Mister Potter, Mister Weasley, and Miss Granger, please report to my office today at 1317 hours.

Professors Snape, Lupin, Flitwick, and Hooch- I have made arrangements betweeen us to fill in Professor Black's classes. Revised class schedules will be distributed tonight at supper.

Everyone, please. Let's just allow Professor Black the time and solitude he requires to heal. Should you wish to offer gifts, cards, or condolences, please deliver them to his office in the Tower.
