Duels, fights and threats...whatever is the world coming to?

Justin - if I see you going anywhere in a less than studious manner then be aware that I will be hot on your trail to put a stop to any mischief before it takes place. This is for your own good and you have been duly warned - the last thing I want to see is any one of my house members bloodied and I'm sure the house-elves will not be appreciative of any stains in your robes.

Ron, if you threaten me again, you will be sorry. I have already spoken to Professor McGonagall about your behaviour, and assured me that she will be speaking to you.

Sue? Are you okay? I hope Ron didn't upset you too much.

That's my grumble for today.

On an definite upside: Seamus, Mandy, Dean and I are all going to join Terry under the stairs tomorrow night. I am swinging past the kitchens on the way through to obtain some reasonable snacks, considering that somehow our entire meals have gone, all-of-a-sudden, strangely vegetarian.

And even when you are as fond of salad as I am, you can get strangely sick of carrot sticks. I am not a rabbit. I do not wish to always eat like one. So therefore, a quick stop over for chicken sandwiches (minus the salad) will be in order.

Hermione, have you decide to start up S.P.E.W. again, or is this just a general protest against meat? Just wondering.

Animagus class tonight - and we get to find out what kind of animals we might be coming. I can't wait! I wonder what I'll be...

I don't think it was Hermione, actually, Hannah, who convinced the house-elves to serve all the weeds yesterday. I think it was a certain Professor Who Shall Remain Nameless, But Whose Name Is Sirius Black, and for that he will pay.

In the meantime, I could certainly use some help talking the elves into serving proper meat again.

I shall be there at 3:30 tomorrow afternoon, Professor - I have the animagus class tonight, and the protest tomorrow night, but tomorrow afternoon would be pleasant.

I would more than gladly help you with the non-vegetarian stand - I suffer from low iron levels and need meat in my diet. Some obviously have no consideration of others before making such a dramatic lifestlye change that effects us all.

Indeed. And he does protest so well.
My uncle had quite an interesting experience with Firewhiskey - involving a dress, some rather active jumping beans and several small yappy dogs.
I'll say no more.

As Professor Lupin said, I didn't do anything to the house elves. I still believe in S.P.E.W., but I haven't had enough time for it. But Dean says he's going to make buttons, so perhaps we'll get new members and the process will begin again. Did you want to join, Hannah?

My apologises, Hermione! I'm not sure about joining S.P.E.W. - I will consider the matter for a time - I do not wish to make any hasty decisions...
Right now I'm more concerned about getting meat back into my diet.
And I am keeping a firm eye on [info]finch_fletchley - has [info]knight_to_h3 escaped your grip yet?
