Entry #8.
This journal-keeping assignment may be the biggest waste of space and time since Divinition but it is still my part of my many responsibilities to update it and therefore I do it.
Because I am responsible.
The Herbology essay due in tomorrow may be dull enough to put him to shame but it is still part of my academic responsibilities and thus I will complete it.
Why?
Because I am responsible.
Showering daily may evidently be optional in certain cultures, however, it is part of my personal hygiene routine and so I do it.
Oh, responsible me.
Waking up at 4.45am, earlier than cocks, for Quidditch practice may be unreasonable, uncalled for and inconsiderate, but as an integral member of the team I had to turn up on time, and I did.
Again, why?
I am responsible.
Now.
I do not trod in 37 minutes late without an apology.
I do not arrive 37 minutes late without an explanation.
I do not waddle in 37 minutes late with two muffins in hands and no broomstick.
I do not slink in 37 minutes late with hair still dripping wet and plastered to skull.
I most certainly will not call off the practice upon showing up late.
I simply cannot understand why anyone would do such a thing.
Then again, I am neither irresponsible, a pest, nor constantly late.
On that note, I shall have to sign off and see to my Herbology essay like all respectable, responsible individuals should.

I never said that I had to be at practise at 5:30. I called you to practise. After you'd taken the care to point out my tardiness the other day, I felt it only right that you should show me exemplary punctuality. Nice job, Millicent.
As for being irresponsible? Please. Who's the Prefect here?
Me; that's who.
