Entry #9.
I was, once again, purple.

Why did you not take me with you.

This would not have happen if he did not act like a vibrator whenever he sees me.

All I wanted to do, very simply, was turn him lavender so he could match his bitch.

But, instead of standing still and letting me hex him like a normal person, he had to go running and screaming into the cold, lonely night.

The spell missed and hit a mirror.

Mirror reflects.

You will pay.

I was not purple for long, however, as he has been trying to get into my good books the whole week and so removed the hex, while claiming to do so only because he "felt responsible for the general appearance of the Slytherin house".

Since he had the worst luck during Potions class today, I decided to very graciously forgive him for being an irresponsible bigot last week.

Let it never be said that Millicent Bulstrode bears grudges.

In other news, my lantern is done.

M. B.

Lisa, the Ravenclaw Prefect, and I were browsing through the journals today after finishing our lanterns...

turpinol @ 2002-08-03 02:50 pm UTC

And we couldn't help but notice that you included an interesting little narrative detailing an attempted attack on Neville Longbottom.

missgranger @ 2002-08-03 02:53 pm UTC

We realize that you have been upset by the accident Neville caused that turned you purple, but it's not as if he did it deliberately. You, on the other hand, set out to harm him on purpose.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 02:54 pm UTC

Which, if you follow trial procedings in The Daily Prophet, you know counts as "premeditated intent."

(parent)
missgranger @ 2002-08-03 02:56 pm UTC

So, you see, we really are left with little choice here. You've admitted publicly what you tried to do.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 02:58 pm UTC

You admit that you intend to attack Neville again, and that you have already used magic in the hallways.

(parent)
missgranger @ 2002-08-03 03:02 pm UTC

That you are being punished should really come as no surprise. We will be taking house points - the number is being determined now - and also reporting this to our Heads of Houses, who may be assigning you detention. In fact, it seems rather likely.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 03:03 pm UTC

We have decided that the use of magic in the hallways is worth 5 points from Slytherin...

(parent)
missgranger @ 2002-08-03 03:07 pm UTC

And 20 points from Slytherin for an unprovoked attack on another student.

Your attitude is going to get you in even more trouble, Bulstrode. I suggest you look into changing it.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:18 pm UTC

Really.

I am touched.

Your personality will make you a bigger irritant in the future but I am too polite to tell you so.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:04 pm UTC

It was not in the hallways.

Get to the point.

Take points and get lost.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 03:08 pm UTC

Ah, but we spoke with Neville to confirm this story.

We considered that it might be empty boasting.

He showed us the hallway, and the mirror.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:12 pm UTC

He did, did he?

Ah, I guess I will be having a nice chat with him about lying sometime.

Soon.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 03:35 pm UTC

Careful, Millicent.

I suggest you don't talk to Neville for a few days. It would look very bad for you if something were to happen to him.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:39 pm UTC

I suggest you move to another planet.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 03:45 pm UTC

I like your suggestions.

However, the wizarding outposts on Mars are really vacation retreats and not suitable for year-round living.

Although I could be induced to send a postcard this summer, if you like.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:00 pm UTC

You need to bring a friend along just to take points from me?

Brave Gryffindors, indeed.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 03:06 pm UTC

There is a certain...safeguard against partiality since I am present. That is why Hermione chose to consult with me.

Minus 1 point for talking back.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:10 pm UTC

Abuse of power?

Nice.

You could have been a Slytherin.

(parent)
turpinol @ 2002-08-03 03:37 pm UTC

Why Millicent, that was almost complimentary, coming from you.

I'm honored I was here to see the day.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:54 pm UTC

I am a very nice person.

Frequently misunderstood.

potions_master @ 2002-08-04 04:45 am UTC

Miss Turpin,

May I remind you that there is no such thing as a penalty for "talking back" to a prefect? Your deduction of one point from Slytherin has been nullified.

Nice of you to let me know your lack of respect for the privacy of others.

:[

...what's a vibrator?

turpinol @ 2002-08-03 02:53 pm UTC

It a muggle device that vibrates...

although I do believe you should have this conversation with Lavender, and not me. :)

(parent)

missgranger @ 2002-08-03 02:54 pm UTC

...D'you really think Lavender knows what it is?? I mean, I know what it is, but it's not as if I've ever SEEN one or... *blushes furiously*

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 02:57 pm UTC

Are we supposed to be surprised you know what a vibrator is when you are dating what you date?

Shoo.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 02:55 pm UTC

This is my journal.

Not a inter-house Aunt Agony messageboard.

Go away.

(parent)
wheresmytoad @ 2002-08-03 03:00 pm UTC

I really didn't mean to turn you violet, Millicent.

Honest.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 03:02 pm UTC

We are not on first names basis.

Honest.

(parent)
petitemillicent @ 2002-08-03 02:53 pm UTC

Something she very desperately needs.

(parent)
potions_master @ 2002-08-03 07:28 pm UTC

Miss Bulstrode,

I must say, your lantern is very lifelike. The fact that it provides a three-dimensional effect is nothing short of remarkable. You do Slytherin House proud.

Twenty points for Slytherin.

-Professor Snape

petitemillicent @ 2002-08-04 01:51 am UTC

I try.

And, cheers.

Also, Professor Snape, is there any possibility of rescuing Pansy from the French version of hell? She said it is full of Lavender Browns. Do have mercy.
