Announcement.

1: You've grown predictable in your old age.

2: Most charms have a reversal charm, you realise.

3: Where is my cake?

Re: Announcement.

1: You are older than me. Physically, that is.

2: I know that, you realise.

3: The cake I gave you last night was bigger than you.

4: I believe you will be paying for my meals during Hogsmeade weekends for the rest of your existence.

Re: Announcement.

1: Approximately fifty-nine days older, aside from leap years, of course. Still, I hardly feel sixty days is enough to make a large difference.

2: I am merely pointing out.

3: What is your point?

4: I already pay for your meals during Hogsmeade weekends now.

Re: Announcement.

1: What is your point?

2: You have to admit we are clearly in the superior House.

3: You have had enough cake. Pig.

4: I am just saying.

Re: Announcement.

1: Well, I had nothing else to say to that particular remark.

2: Much like this one.

3: And this one.

4: Particularly this one.

5: Ad infinitum.

7: I haven't finished it. I've only just got to the gripping climax.

Re: Announcement.

8: The locking charm on your bookbag has a reversal charm as well.

Re: Announcement.

10: Well, considering my clever pun, I clearly know which book I've borrowed.

11: I find Jack to be a heinous imbecile.

Re: Announcement.

11: I quite agree.

12: I yearn for a detailed backstory of the affair between Kate's mother and Winfield.

Re: Announcement.

12: I found the Cheesecake Scene entirely trite.

Re: Announcement.

12: Really. It just made me hungry.

13: The scene in the abandoned theater also made me hungry.

Re: Announcement.

13. I haven't got to that part yet. How considerate of you.

14. Do you feel Kate's lust for abstinence is a metaphor for life itself?

Re: Announcement.

13: It is, you know, my book, that, you know, you stole.

14: I feel it is not so much a metaphor for life than it is about a sense of control. In fact, her obsession with her vibrator clearly represented a wish to substitute virtual reality for life itself. One is in control of one's fantasies. It is self-contained lust. She is able direct how the climax should be. While in real life, when her own emotions are tangled with that of another being, the lines begin to blue. I believe she wishes for an utopian love that is simple not possible when rendered powerless by things beyond her control.

15: What do you make of the parallels between Kate and Jack's relationship and that of her mother and Winfield?

Re: Announcement.

13: I merely borrowed it for revision.

14: Interesting. I just thought it was supposed to be about masturbation.

15: I thought the parallels were overdone and redundant. It was hardly necessary to revisit the old Knitting Factory for a nostalgic bit of regalia.

Re: Announcement.

13: For Herbology?

14: Masturbation is also a way to be in control of one's sexuality.

15: I suspect I have a soft spot for Winfield.

16: Read faster.
