Current mood:annoyed
Current music:The stirring sound of silence.

Insert witty subject title here, and begone with you.
This institution of education requires some sort of counseling entity, for I have had quite enough with coddling the delicate little cretins of this school.

For the last fortnight, I have had one student after another tromping about in my dungeons, making a lot of noise and sniveling and worrying Lilitou as if she is some sort of miracle cure for their sorry little love lives. Finnigan was down here at one point, whinging about - wait, I do not care what he was on about. Then several hours Thomas found his way into the old Potions classroom, doing what I do not wish I know. Yesterday, some little blond whelp was found nosing about in my office of all places, muttering about the authorities of the school and the establishment and anarchy. I don't recall his name - Creely, Creepy, something to that nature. He scrawled "Damn the man!" upon my chalkboard, and he will live to regret it.

At any rate I sent them all away with a few less points for their houses and hopefully in need of a dry pair of trousers. I can be intimidating when I need to be.

Currently the Chang wench is here, feeding Lilitou her nightly Puffskein and looking entirely too happy to be doing so. I suspect a modicum of insanity in that line - it would be the Muggle in her, I'd wager. However I will allow it as having someone to mind Lilitou's feedings frees me to finish construction on Longbottom's end-of-term exam, which of course is far different and more difficult than the exam the rest of his year will be given. I expect he will do well, as it is in his blood to do so. Not that he is at all aware or proud of that, naturally.

Now, if he would only stop sulking about the castle and muttering on about that blasted Obliviation Charm he believes himself to be under. Either he is or he is not, and I do not see what blithering on about it constantly to anyone who will listen is going to accomplish. Perhaps he has been in the company of a Weasley for too long. That would do it.

Finally, there is Potter. Potter, who wanders the school in the dead of night completely oblivious to the rule in place to prevent that exactly thing. Potter, who attends his lessons looking as if he has been hexed six ways from Slytherin and naturally no one bats an eye at his pitiful excuses and lackluster studies. Potter, who behaves as if the entire world is centered about his forehead, as if he is the only one who must bear the occaional flare of pain at the behest of the Dark Lord.

At least some of us know enough to report such occasions to the proper authorities, rather than some flea-ridden mongrel.

I swear on the ghost of Salazar that I am the only person left in this school who possesses any sense at all.

This entry will be brief. I have something more important to do, now, than say anything more to any of you.

Hello, Professor Snape.

Is Potter's scar hurting?

Do I look like Potter?

Ask him. I am busy.

Re:

Why, should I borrow a Ravenclaw scarf so you will make some time for me, Professor.

No.

I am not interested in scarves.

Perhaps get lend of a personality, instead.

An Asian one, perhaps?

For you, I would recommend Peruvian.

You seem like someone who would enjoy a llama.

Re:

I am all for cultural exchange.

However, that is quite a distance to travel just to get a simple answer from you, Professor.

I would expect nothing less from a Slytherin, Miss Bulstrode.

However, I suggest you acquire a new llama. Yours is lame, and quite surly.

Re:

There was no need to insult the llama I do not have, Professor.

If you will excuse me, I have to look for Professor Black, who ironically is better than you at providing straight answers.

You would be better off to ask your llama.

Beware. He spits.
