Rosebud? I think not.
Black,
Did you honestly think that I meant it when I asked you out in sixth year? Unfortunately, the sixth year Slytherins were playing a truth or dare game. I lost, and I had said dare. Wilkes had a really sick sense of humour.
I knew you fancied me. Else, why would you try to kill me at the end of that very same year? That is too coincidental to be accidental.
As for having all of this information about the publications that you graced the pages of, it's not very hard to find. Just do a card catalogue name search on Sirius Black and there you go.

Ah, Severus... I am sure you were indeed flabbergasted by my statement. What confuses me is why, if I fancied you, I would try to kill you. That really doesn't follow. While I stand by my statement that you are attractive, you are nonetheless not my type at all. I prefer my lovers to at least possess a beating heart rather than an atrophied lump of coal. The living are much more fun as I'm sure you know.
As for the alleged incident in sixth year, was that your wand, then, that I felt pressed against me that day in the corridor, when you whispered in my ear that you wanted me? I didn't realize they made wands that thick...

Mr. Weasley, Mr. Longbottom and Mr. Creevey:
Perhaps you shouldn't be reading Professor Snape's journal then...
