Father's bought me a new owl to replace the one Weasley slaughtered. Of course, I'm still suffering the loss of Quirinus. I hung a stone around his neck and let his body sink to the bottom of the lake. I think it was a rather touching ceremony, myself.
This new owl is trained extraordinarily well to answer to my every command. It also delivers letters much faster than the express owls at the post office in Hogsmeade. I sent a package off last night and already the owl has delivered it and returned. Father has always been quite well at picking out the best.
Mother is in a state of duress over this whole owl debacle, so it seems that Weasley's deviant behaviour has caused harm not only to my owl, but to My Mother as well. Father is meeting with Mr and Mrs Weasley to discuss all of this, and he thinks Weasley ought to be examined at St Mungo's. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he had some sort of mental deficiency. Anyone who dates Granger clearly must have something wrong with them.
I'm certainly not looking forward to returning to Hogwarts tomorrow. Being at the Manor is infinitely preferable to that travesty of a castle. Of course, Father and Mother have given me a few things to make Hogwarts a bit more enjoyable, so I suppose that should help a bit. Otherwise, though, unless Hogwarts has made some vast improvements over the holiday, I'm quite sure it will be as pathetic as ever. I wonder, though, if I'll be having any run-ins with Weasley on the Hogwarts Express. I'd hate to be in his cheap shoes if that's the case.
Oh, well, I suppose I ought to start packing. I'd hate to leave any of my belongings behind. I've also got to stop up and see Mother this evening to make sure she's doing all right, given her current distress. I do hope she hasn't taken to illness over all of this. Were that the case, Weasley would have more than just my owl's death to account for.

What has your mother's illness got to do with me?! You are barking mad! I pity your new owl.

Your actions and your blasphemous cruelty to my son have distressed me so that I have taken ill. My less-than-well health has everything to do with you. I pity your mother.

You Malfoys are all the same, blaming others for your own bloody crap! My mother pities you!

So then, boy, are you actually owning up to taking the life of my son's beloved owl?
I will have you know that my illness directly stems from the trauma of seeing the owl's carcass and knowing that my Draco's fine messenger had his life visciously taken by the hands of a child who cannot bear that others are more fortunate than he.

P.S. Tell your mother she can keep her pity. I don't want her to take from her stockpile of self-pity she certainly must have for dealing with you mongrels.

IT WAS A BLOODY ACCIDENT, OKAY?! HOW MANY TIMES MUST I EXPLAIN THAT?! YOUR BLOODY SON THOUGHT IT WAS A VERY BLOODY FUNNY IDEA TO SEND ME SPIDERS AND YOUR BLOODY OWL WAS IN THE WAY WHEN I WAS BLOODY KILLING THE SPIDERS, HOW IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND, YOU CRAZY WOMAN?!

There is no need to shout. How uncouth.
I doubt very much it was an accident. Draco was simply trying to spread a bit of holiday cheer by owling you some items to restock your potions ingredients. If you did not like the gift, you very well could have just returned it posthaste without difficulty. Obviously you did not think of that. You must learn to think before acting like civilised people do.

I WAS NOT SHOUTING!!!!!
YOUR STUPID SON KNOWS I'M TERRIFIED OF SPIDERS, HE DID IT ON PURPOSE BUT YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY TOO BLIND TO SEE IT SINCE YOU HAVE CUCUMBERS STUCK TO YOUR EYES TO BRING BACK YOUR YOUTH, YOU OLD HAG!!!
blondenarcissa @ 2003-01-12 11:23 am UTC |
All capitalization is shouting, just so you know. Do try and remember that. At the very least you could attempt to show some manners.
Draco is not stupid or daft by any means. His marks prove that he is highly intelligent. My son was only trying to help you but obviously you are too stubborn to accept that.

P.S. I am neither old nor a hag. As for cucumbers, I only put those on at night, dear. You must be getting your times of day confused.

Do NOT yawn at My Mother, you pathetic, yeast-infected hinkypunk.

My son is definitely not ugly by any means. He has excellent genes so, naturally, he is stunningly handsome. I do realize that you are merely jealous of his aristocratic good looks but do not fret. You could always use a few facial feature altering charms on yourself to make yourself look more attractive.

You are all ugly gits, why are you stalking me, too?!
