potterstinks: No subject.

A stupid Slytherin first year spent the entirety of the evening crying because it wanted to go home. This would have been of no consequence to me, of course, if not for the fact that the fifth year Prefect decided she couldn't handle it on her own and had to come wake me up. As though I have any responsibility for crying first years. It wasn't as though I had made it cry.

I've just woken up a bit ago and enjoyed a nice bath in the Prefects' bathroom. The entirety of the school seems to be missing, so I can't help wondering if there happened to be a shooting star last night who heard my wish that everyone would disappear as I fell asleep. I would assume this were true, if not for the fact that the first year is standing behind me in an outstandingly creepy fashion. I've had to owl its parents and now it's acting as though the reply is going to come out of my ear. I'm considering seeing Professor Snape about the matter, as clearly this sort of riff-raff doesn't belong in Slytherin, that's for sure. Oh, apparently it's a girl. Well, bully for her.

I think I'll visit the library and see about finding a cure for crying. I can't help feeling as though I've forgotten to do something, but I'm sure it wasn't important.

How thoughtful of you to remind me several hours after the event. I'm so glad my friends can be counted on in times of trouble like this. I'll be sure to keep this in mind the next time I've got to wake you up for breakfast. I was supposed to go to Hogsmeade with My Parents afterwards as well, but since you decided it would be best to let me sleep through a duel, I've missed that as well. My Father is an incredibly busy wizard, as you should know by now, and an entire day has been wasted. I commend you on your efficiency, Crabbe.
