Current mood:enraged

Well, I've finally been to Dogear Wryde, though it seems I was the last one at Hogwarts who managed to go without seeing it. As predicted, it was entirely unimpressive. I can't see how My Mother has managed to stay there when it would likely fit into a single wing of the Manor with plenty of room to spare. I didn't look around much, of course, though I'd have been interested to check Black's wardrobe and see if he just owns the one pair of leather trousers or seven identical pair.

I spent much of the evening making Potter get up and fetch me every single type of beverage their kitchens had to offer, though of course they were all subpar. Of course, my Mirroring Charms turned out to be infinitely superior to Potter's, which were quite weak. Also, he has poor penmanship.

I also put in an appearance at Creevey's club, since it was evidently quite important that I do so. I realise I'm infamous in my anti-Potter brilliance, but I simply don't have the time to schedule appearances every time someone else decides they want to give it a go. I'd much prefer to be an imposing entity that isn't sought for advice, as I'm certainly not going to offer any.

If you have to ask, you'll never know.

I've been examining the Slytherin Quidditch team roster lately, and I suppose I'll have to hold try-outs to find a replacement for Sally-Anne as my other Beater. Millicent, of course, is about six Beaters all on her own, but evidently one must follow regulations on these things, so I'll be announcing that shortly. First years need not apply.

Weasley flooded my inbox with sophomoric email yesterday, much to my irritation. In the end I was forced to show him and Potter the way to Potions, as neither seems capable of remembering the new location. Of course, I was certain to walk fifteen paces ahead of them to ensure that I was not seen with them, and as Weasley decided to walk an additional fifteen paces away, it was turned into an utter spectacle. This is the last time I'll bother doing something charitable, as I don't appreciate being shouted at so that everyone sees I've been forced into my yearly good deed. Millicent has also begun writing me notes of observation about myself, just to let me know each time I move to a different classroom. Charming.

Why do you have to post first thing in the morning? Why does this have to be the first thing everyone starts their day with?

I aim to please.

An excellent point, Mr Finch-Fletchley. Three points to Hufflepuff.

Of course not. Otherwise, I'm sure I'd forget that I'd tied my shoes.

Or that you occasionally press the Enter key with your pinky instead of your index finger.

I always press the enter key with my pinky. That's the way you're supposed to press it.

Well then.

Did you know you occasionally press the Enter key with your index finger instead of your pinky?

I'll be sure to remedy that as soon as humanly possible.

Are we meeting in front of Slytherin again? I'm heading over now, okay?

potterstinks @ 2003-05-15 06:08 pm UTC

Well, I see I've got a lot of choice on the matter.
