Current mood:enraged

We've arrived at this ridiculous excursion, and as you can see, I've brought my laptop in order to record all of the miseries enacted on my person. To start, I don't see why we couldn't have brought our own tents. The kitchen in ours is barely functional and it didn't even come with a house-elf. We have bunk beds. Nott's on the bed underneath mine, but it's not as though Crabbe and Goyle's snoring is going to be very far away. They might as well be sleeping above me for how loud I expect them to be. It's even worse than the dormitory, as the distance between our beds is smaller. It's a good thing that stupid Smith person in our year didn't come, as if I'd had to stay with him in such a narrow space, I might have perished. The beds aren't even remotely comfortable. It's a good thing I brought my own pillow, as I don't enjoy using a wafer to rest my head on.

When we got here there was a great deal of confusion, as we had to find the tents we were assigned and sort our belongings out of the carriages. Our tent is beside the sixth year Slytherins, which I think is ridiculous. It would make far more sense if ours were beside the seventh year Slytherin witches, given that this means Millicent is now traipsing throughout the fields every five minutes in order to complain at me. The other houses are fairly spaced out from us, thankfully, and at least I can't hear everyone messing about while I'm in the tent.

For some reason the sixth year Ravenclaw wizards' tent keeps drawing crowds, and I don't know what they're doing in there, but I'm quite willing to bet it's something stupid. For some ungodly reason, Mad-Eye Moody decided to 'check in' on the tents shortly after we'd got situated, and he told me to 'look sharp.' What a fascinating pearl of wisdom. Does he mean that I ought to dress formally for this occasion?

We had to ingest our food in the ramshackle hall inside of a tent, and after dinner we were forced to watch Moody and Kingsley Shacklebolt demonstrate something boring that I wasn't paying attention to. I, instead, was regaling Nott with the tale of my great triumph over Ravenclaw on Saturday.

It was surprisingly chilly for April, as you may know, so it's a mark of my pure talent that I managed to catch the Snitch so quickly when I was in the air where it's even colder. Of course, the strategy to catch the Snitch by flying right over it so it was caught in the hem of my robes was one I thought up on the spot. It seemed rather obvious, since the wind was blowing quite a bit. I naturally realised that my robes would weigh the Snitch down, which made it rather easy for me to reach down and grab it. I wonder if they'll name a move after me. After all, it's similar to the Plumpton Pass, but unique as well. I think I'll write to Kennilworthy Whisp myself. The Malfoy Manoeuvre would be a suitable name. Jones never stood a chance against me, really. I'd say it was unfair, but everyone simply has to deal with the fact that the other Seeker is so good when they play against me.

Tonight we're being forced to go in search of plants in the dark. Oh, were you wondering why? Because I don't know either, but then, one can hardly expect anything to be practical.

Strategy shmategy! Also, the Malfoy Manoeuvre is probably the LEAST EXCITING NAME EVER but it's not like your STRATEGY will be taken seriously by Whisp anyway, hah!

Nice icon there, Weasel. Hasn't that expired by now?

I suppose you would know quite a bit about not being taken seriously, wouldn't you? Fortunately, I don't have that problem.

Hello.

I leant my laptop to Pansy.

It was taken.

Now it is making its way through Camp.

Thus, I am using Potter's laptop.

I took it from Macmillan.

Interesting internet history.

Can I have my laptop back please?

No.

I do not have it.

Finch-Fletchley took it.

Do you really need to check the Daily Prophet that many times a day.

I haven't really used that that much since the summer.

That does not explain why your desktop is so ugly.

That does not explain this.

What? Besides the stuff you put on there?

Are you aware that you do not have to put everything on your desktop?

Also.

The wallpaper.

I know that!

It's just one of the ones they had, I didn't really think about it.

Obviously.

Change it.
