Current mood:enraged

Pansy came back from her detention not long ago, muttering something about the fact that Professor Sprout obviously doesn't keep up with her reading. I've no idea why Pansy keeps up with which fertiliser is the best, but then, if I questioned Pansy's motives for everything, I could be here for quite awhile.

Since I have to serve detention at five o'clock in the morning because of Weasley, I don't feel it's fair that I'll have to serve another detention for Potter soon. I'm next on the list. If I have to do something like what Pansy just had to do for Professor Sprout, I promise you, Potter will understand the meaning of the phrase 'mopping the floor' with someone. In fact, I think if I'm forced to do labour, Potter will be a handy tool to use for digging or just whatever it may be.

This is a complete outrage. Why should I have to serve a detention with the Trio tomorrow morning? It's not as though I broke any bats, and I certainly didn't lose the Snitch. That was Potter's fault, again. Everything that happens in this bloody school is Potter's fault, and I say we issue a revolt. I know Macmillan and Finch-Fletchley will be up for it. Of course, I'm not willing to work side by side with any common Hufflepuffs, but something must be done.

I've written a letter to Father regarding the issue, as well as some choice information about the things the Weasel tried to imply about the Malfoys. Of course, this could mean Arthur Weasley may have to be investigated. We all know those sorts of things always come from the parents. Not that it matters much, of course, working in his department at the Ministry.

In any case, I tried to see Professor Sinistra this evening to convince her to change my detention, but she wouldn't budge. If I'd had more time, I'm sure My Father would have written a letter to Dumbledore insisting I was released from this sentence, but I suppose that isn't going to happen in time. So now, I have to go to bed, because I have to be up at five o'clock in the morning so I can spend the day with Potter and his puppies. How bloody joyful.

It's not my fault we got detention, Malfoy, and it's not my fault we lost the Snitch, either. Do you think I wanted detention? I have it too, you know. It's not like I would give myself detention with you just so you would have detention.

How should I know how your mind works? And maybe if you hadn't been tagging me so closely that I could hear your teeth grinding, we wouldn't have lost the Snitch. That's your fault for being so concerned I'd beat you again.

Right, Malfoy, because you've never followed me around the pitch, have you?

Even if I had followed you around the pitch, it would be due to a little something called knowing the enemy, but of course, you would know nothing about that, since you certainly can't know anything about tactics. It seems you just spend most of your time during the matches hoping the Snitch will fly into your lap and showing off flying.

I don't show off. I don't think I'm that great. Although I guess you wouldn't know what that's like.

Oh, right, Potter, and I'm a Hufflepuff. Anyone can see that you obviously think you're Merlin's gift to broomsticks.

No, I don't.

Oh, my, what a smashing response, Potter. This is such an intellectual challenge. Why, you're nearly as sharp as a spoon!

I'm going to bed, Malfoy. Keep talking to yourself if you want, I don't care.

Oh, fine, can't take the heat again, I see.

Draco,

Rest assured that I am taking your treatment quite seriously, and am addressing the issue. I will not allow my son to suffer because of the behavior of that Potter boy. Just because he grew up without parents to guide him is no excuse.
