SO
Why did I say I wanted to be an Animagus? I've never worked this hard for anything in my life. (Well, except him.) And now we're to go to Diagon Alley. I probably won't even have time to shop, much less meet up with [info]quidditchislife!

Meanwhile, my so-called friends are throwing a party WITHOUT ME. While there are certainly some people I could do without seeing, this is discrimination! Hermione! We must fight this!

Or at the very least, crash the party!

We could throw our own party, you know...

blushcrush @ 2002-12-07 11:11 pm UTC

We could! That would be fun!

Want to help? We need to owl Fred and George for party supplies!

Wow, really, Ron? A party sounds great! Oh no, I hope Gran doesn't find out about it, she'll tell me not go to if she hears...

Re:

Yeah! Why not? Don't worry, Fred and George aren't coming, you'll be safe, well- as safe as you usually are anyway!

I think this is a great idea, Ron, and I'll help all I can. But, um, well--

Do you think we should invite the Slytherins? Just an idea. It would be neighborly. They'd probably say no, anyway, but it is Christmastime. We should be charitable, don't you think?

Re:

WHY THE BLEEDING SOD SHOULD WE INVITE THE SLYTHERINS?! ARE YOU MAD?! AND THAT IS NOTHING NEIGHBOURLY, THEIR DUNGEON IS RIGHT AT THE OTHER END OF HOGWARTS! THERE IS A TIME AND PLACE TO BE CHARITABLE, SEAMUS AND THIS IS JUST NOT IT!

Of course you can help! I'll owl my brothers for party supplies. Could you and Dean do something for decorations?

(parent)
seamus_f @ 2002-12-10 07:29 am UTC

RON, I'd thank you very much NOT to shout at me in my own journal. And when is a better time for charity than at CHRISTMAS?

Sure, we'd love to help with the decorations. I'll talk to Dean and get back to you.

Anyway, they aren't all bad. Pansy and Millicent were very nice to Dean and me when we started seeing each other and were the only bearable part of that entire "under the stairs" debacle, and I'm sure Crabbe could do with a party, first holiday without his Da and all (or was that Goyle? is there a difference?), and Malfoy did such a good job as a house elf that perhaps we could get him to work as a waiter!

Re:

I WAS NOT SHOUTING AND IT IS NEVER TIME FOR CHARITY WHEN BLOODY SLYTHERINS ARE INVOLVED!

Malfoy WOULD be great as a Christmas Elf actually but he'll end up poisoning the food. Who the hell is going to invite them anyway, not me for sure. This is a very bad idea. One of your worst, really.

(parent)
seamus_f @ 2002-12-10 09:24 am UTC

Ron, how many times do we have to tell you that ALL CAPS ARE SHOUTING!

Well, maybe we should put it up to a house vote. If no one wants to do it, we won't do it, because then no one would have a nice time at the party. I just think it would be a nice gesture.

Re:

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING AT ME?!

I think we should just invite them to go hang themselves.

(parent)

wheresmytoad @ 2002-12-10 11:50 am UTC

Oh no, please not them... I guess you can put a poll on here or something Seamus but honestly I smell trouble if the Slytherins come!

(parent)
hannahabbott @ 2002-12-07 11:57 pm UTC

Seamus, it's not meant as a bad thing...Professor Sprout only gave us permission to invite one other house, and we put it to the vote.

I'm sorry.

Hmph. Then you owe me a butterbeer next Hogsmeade weekend.

And I'll still help you with your Christmas shopping.

We will even buy you sweets, well, a few that is.

Good. You can come with me and Mandy if you like.

Who knows, you may even get two butterbeers out of it. *smile*

Oh bullocks, you can't make it? Bugger. Well, let me know and perhaps we can get together over your hols? I don't know if you're going home or staying at Hogwarts - let me know!

seamus_f @ 2002-12-12 08:59 am UTC

We finally got the sched, and we do have free time Saturday late afternoon and dinner after all. No offense, but rather eat with you than the girls. Sound good to you?
