Dogear Wyrde late night
I came here to keep Professor Lupin company because he was lonely and I was bored and the dog was gnawing on the couch. However, now Mrs. Malfoy is here and I'm sorry, she vaguely frightens me. (Dunno why, as her son certainly doesn't.) Not to mention Ginny and her elder brother Charlie, whom I haven't seen since he came to help Professor Lupin teach that time and I failed to take any notes whatsoever.
He wears dragonhide quite well. Yes, he does.
I am hiding in the den with Rosie until further notice.

Seamus, you will forgive me for being crude, but if you do not get your arse out here and help me entertain, so help me, you will spend the rest of your life as one of Rosie's chew-toys.

Can you do that? Is that legal?
Not that I don't think you won't, of course.
I think I found the good scotch. I'll just bring it with me.
lupercus @ 2003-07-09 10:07 pm UTC |
It's legal if I say so. Freak Wand Accident. No Wizengamot in the world would convict me.
Bring the vodka too. Top shelf, third cupboard on the right. But don't give any to Mrs Malfoy, no matter how nicely she asks. Understand?
Charlie's looking for you. Something about a spot of billiards?
seamus_f @ 2003-07-09 10:15 pm UTC |
No Vodka for Mrs. Malfoy. check.
I also found tequila up there but I think that's best left, at least for tonight.
Billiards? I can do that.
lupercus @ 2003-07-09 10:17 pm UTC |
Paws off the tequila. That's mine.
Beware the billiards. He's got a look in his eye that means nothing good will come of it. I may flee.
seamus_f @ 2003-07-09 10:19 pm UTC |
Understood. And I haven't paws, unusually in this house. I have hooves.
Beware? Is there something I should know? Sir?
lupercus @ 2003-07-09 10:23 pm UTC |
Right. You're an ungulate. Shifty lot, those ungulates. I should know.
Oh, nothing you should be worried about, my dear boy. Charlie's just an excellent player of billiards. It's just that he likes to make... odd wagers. It's no use going up against him unless you're prepared to deliver.
Though, I will say, when playing against Charlie Weasley one never wins, and one never loses.
seamus_f @ 2003-07-09 10:26 pm UTC |
You should know?
Odd wagers?
Never win and never lose?
You may be my elder, sir, but I am cutting you off unless you stop being so cryptic. I feel there is some good advice in here but I'm damned if I can figure out what it is.
lupercus @ 2003-07-09 10:31 pm UTC |
Nevermind, Seamus. Ignore the ramblings of the aging queen and go play pool with the nice boy downstairs.
You can thank me in the morning.
seamus_f @ 2003-07-09 10:35 pm UTC |
Yes, sir, I will. Though, you certainly are NOT a queen. Just for the record.

Hm. You obviously did not see the tiara in the drawing room, then.
