Oh, empty house again.
Well, what a week! Lovely, lovely guests, and fun times. Mandy seems to have finally washed all the dust out of her hair and elsewhere, and I think the country air did her a great deal of good. That girl needs to go outside more often. I'm glad she was here, though, because Ernie and Hannah kept, um, wandering off. But the week was brilliant, a great rest. It's really been a fabulous summer, at least for me.
A few messages:
Charlie, I'm sure it will be fine in the end and you should trust her. Letter to come.
Neville, many congratulations. Say, instead of that visit, we could meet up someplace? Or what have you. Two weekends until school, so let me know.
Professor Lupin, if you don't knock it off I will knock it off for you.
Friends, you know where I am if you need me, and thanks for being there for ME this spring.
And now, back to the house to spend some time with Da, who has oddly decided I must learn how to cook the Muggle way. A more useless thing to learn I cannot imagine, but eh. Spending time with Da is never a bad thing.

You look better with it shorter. Longer you just look like the lost member of some Muggle band from the late seventies.
And new robes, I think. That's it, we need to go shopping. And perhaps to a day spa. I think it would do you a world of good to do something for yourself.

I hadn't noticed that it had gotten that long. Or grey. I don't really look at myself much anymore.

Do. And, sorry about Sara, mate. It's been that sort of summer, I reckon. But maybe she'll come around in the end. They do, sometimes, you know.
