The tea leaves have expressed their displeasure with this Muggle system that does not even allow you to edit your entries into the communal journal. I, like the tea leaves, am most unhappy.
Similarly, I have had a premonition that if I do not make this journal more presentable, I may be struck with the scorn of Draco Malfoy. While under normal circumstances, students would not change my ways, I fear that the premonition refers to a more dire fate than scorn - the Malfoys are, after all, a long-standing family. I fear complete social rejection should I not make some small improvements!
I fear I may have to sojourn out to the library. I hope that awful Madame Pince is no longer the librarian; she always complained about tea and wax stains on her books. Long ago I prophesied a dire fate for her; having not emerged from my tower in quite some time, I have no way of knowing if it has occurred. I hope so.
