Current mood: pensive

Changes, Hooch, and Diagon Alley
I fear I have not updated this journal particularly well! The Headmaster will be most displeased with me but I Foresee that he will forgive me!!

I had a lovely time with Narcissa the other day, during which I ran into Madam Hooch. She is quite the dear! She suggested that we might meet in the Hog's Head after supper which we did yesterday, and we got a bit maudlin I fear. I never realized that she was a sappy drunk but I suppose I am as well; it was just as well because I did so need a good cry. I feel much better now, and it wasn't really upsetting, but I have been so self-contained and it simply cannot be good for my Inner Eye! I have always said solitude aids in Divination but perhaps I have had too much of a good thing!!

Xiomara mentioned that my glasses were horrid, which at the time I did not take to heart, but today I traveled to Diagon Alley to purchase new robes and have my colleague Madame Zora inspect my new crystal ball, and purchase an Ouija board! Which is a fascinating tool and so accurate!! As I was saying! I went to Diagon Alley but I did make a stopover in the Muggle section of the city and at Madame Malkin's and one thing led to another and here I am, with a new look, I suppose. I feel very Muggle with my hair as it is and very bare without my glasses but I found a lovely shop called Magical Irritant Removers, Ltd., and they sold me some excellent eyedrops to fix my vision! I would suggest them to young Harry, but perhaps not. It is easily Foreseen that Witch Weekly would consider him vain should he do something as foolhardy as stop wearing his glasses!

I did try to look in on Remus while I was at Diagon Alley but at the Leaky Cauldron they told me he had gone out shopping, and though I looked in almost every shop I could not locate him - I fear he has come to harm! I did think my Sense would have informed me if he had, the way it informed me of poor Weetzie! Remus, you haven't been hurt seriously, have you?!

For now I have returned to my tower, and I must say I feel quite good, all shiny and NEW! I am off to study my Ouija board now and attempt to find a spirit guide within the castle, as I have heard some few talented Seers have managed, both Muggle and magical. I hope to be able to write the SEMINAL work in the field of Ouija! The magical community has ignored this realm of possibilities for far too long!!
