Of late my favourite staff member at Hogwarts is one Sirius Black. I cannot explain it. It may just be my ever tenderheart reaching out. It may just be gas.
My birthday was earlier this week and I must say that lying on the floor in the pitch black was not how I intended to spend it but I did. Contrary to popular belief this was not in fact due to inebriation as I have not drank in several weeks.
A second year Hufflepuff asked me if I was planning to attend the Quidditch match tomorrow. I have not attended a Quidditch match since I was a pupil at Hogwarts and were I to do so now I would not waste my time on a Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw match. Everyone is aware that Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw matches are only filler.
It is cold and I am annoyed. I do not have the body fat that others have to keep me warm. No one knitted me any scarves for my birthday so I will have to buy one.

I am sorry that I overlooked your birthday, Sylvia. I was distracted, though that's hardly an excuse.
I'll try very hard for that minute tea set.

I do not care about my birthday. I just wanted to see if you would find a minuscule tea set. With miniature tea bags. Possibly tiny, tiny sugar cubes.

That is a very tall order. So to speak.
Any preference on the teapot?

Why, Sinistra, I didn't know you cared! Let's run away together--when we do, I'll give you a scarf to keep you warm, assuming our great love doesn't do the trick.
Happy belated birthday, by the way. Should I ask why you spent it on the floor in the dark? A new hobby, or more, er, sinister forces at work?

I feel I could participate in our great and burning love wearing only a scarf.
