Current mood: embarrassed

:(
well. i was waiting to see if someone would talk to me before i wrote here, but, well, it's been a few days, and he hasn't even given me a 'hello.'

as everyone knows, i guess, i went to the ball with harry potter. and i was really nervous about the ball the whole time beforehand, because i don't like dressing up, and i'm not good at dancing, and honestly i didn't know if it meant that harry and i were, like, a couple now, or what, but yeah, i was pretty worried. because i don't like harry like that, i didn't want to embarrass myself dancing, and yeah.

so we went to the ball and sat with ron and hermione and a bunch of other people, and for the most part it was pretty nice. during dinner we got in a lot of talk about quidditch, or rather, harry and ron did, and hermione and i smiled at each other. i was so nervous i could barely throw in a word here or there, even though i wanted to say a bunch so they'd see i knew just as much about quidditch as they do. but that was ok, i think, even though i couldn't even eat because i'm so awkward and shy.

all the other girls were wearing really fancy gowns and robes, and i was just wearing plain blue dress robes, and as soon as i saw i just wanted to cry in humiliation, but that would have made me look even WORSE.

i guess i'm getting too personal here.

i danced with harry a couple times which was akward and embarassing, but it went ok, i think. then he stopped asking and we just sat at the table all night. and i didn't want to dance before the dance, but then when i wasn't dancing, i wanted to be asked, you know? so it kind of would have been nice if harry had, you know, talked to me or asked me to dance.

but he did talk to me. honestly, though, harry if you were going to spend so much time looking at that pansy parkinson and talking about her, well ............. maybe you should have gone with her instead!! :(

anyway, justin asked me to dance, and i was so grateful to be asked, i just went and danced with him. and then when i came back harry was gone so i just sat there waiting for him. and someone came in yelling about a fight, and i STILL sat there, i don't know why.

and then when i was sitting there, proffesor mcgonagall came in and told me the ball was over, and i was supposed to be back in my house, and she took two points from hufflepuff, and i was so embarrassed.

so i guess the ball didn't go very well, and harry didn't even say he was going anywhere. i heard he got into a fight with that gross malfoy in slytherin, so i guess it's not his fault, but i still felt really stupid :(

on the bright side....... i won't have to worry about dressing up anymore.

Beauty is Apparant

It's flattering that you would notice Pratter's lavishing of attention my way. I did my best to ignore the Gryffindrat Brat, hoping his four swamp green eyes would turn elsewhere. At least, however, I could deign to share a few darque secrets on how to tangle the man of your dreams...
Princess Pansy

Er, hi, Susan... don't worry. :( You looked great! I think Harry was probably just laughing at Pansy Parkinson's high heels, like the rest of us. :)

Obviously you hadn't thought much about Potter before you decided to go to him with the ball, Bones. If you're that much of a troll on the dance floor, you certainly shouldn't have attended with someone equally bad, if not worse. That's your mistake, there.

As for Pansy, of course Potter was looking at her. After all, we always want what we can't have, don't we? And obviously, I have impeccable taste. Potter is just jealous that he didn't have a date as . . . pouty as mine. Pouty lips, of course, are quite the feature. Although, I suppose you wouldn't know, with those string beans you have that you call lips. Don't worry; my mother says there are surgeons who could suck all that fat out of your cheeks and put it in your lips.

So, Potter was staring at my date, then, was he? *smirks* I guess you just don't add up. Do you reckon he's going to challenge me to a duel to try and take Pansy's hand? I imagine it's just because she was my date. You know how jealous Potter gets of me. Probably wishing he'd half a chance with her. Is that right, Potter? I know you're reading this.

I don't read anything you say, Malfoy.

Is that so? Rather miraculous, then, that you found your way here. You just read that, you twit.
