The sort of good news: I didn't splinch myself.

The bad news: I did apparate right next to muggles. Twice. They had to do obliviate charms.

The really bad news: So I failed the test and won't be getting my license, at least not now. I can re-take the test in two weeks, but I dunno if I will right away.

Right. Fortunately, I know where Gran keeps the key to the firewhiskey cabinet, and I think I'll put that knowledge to use now.
