Neville said it first and now we have Granger confirmation-- Ron Has Temporarily Disappeared From Hogwarts!

My fun wild theory (in that, it wouldn't hold up under any examination) is Ron 'realized' Dean had a crush on him. Now Ron being Ron, is horribly off. Still, he believes that he has an irresistible mass of gay freckles. Having no desire to break up Seamus and Dean, he ran away. Or, okay, not. Any other ideas?

Funny theory, haha!

I think that Ron is just avoiding Herm. First he hangs out with Dean all the time, because Harry and Seamus are all busy with Draco, and then he hides out at Percy's... he's been that way since the Veritaserum, and he still has to make any comment on what Herm told him then.
