Got Harry?
Mood: scared
According to my laptop it is 2am CST on July 7th, do you know where your Harry is? He checked in last on July 3rd. He should have posted by now.
I'm just a little worried; this isn't a good pattern to start off the holiday with.
Where is Sirius? I wouldn't think that a little thing like waking up #4 would stop him from "dropping in" to check on his son.
Get out of bed, Sirius and harass those Muggles!
And congratulations to "Seamus Finnigan, proud owner of one Apparation License." If you need some place to go, maybe Draco would like some company.
Edit:
Sirius isn't able to go hound Muggles....................he has a mission.
He doesn't know how long he'll be gone.
He can't tell Remus were he's going.
He leaves Harry's health, safety, and well-being to Remus.
I'll be back as soon as I can. And yes, I'll be careful.
I'm crushed.

My thoughts exactly. Liven things up a little. They could start planning the design plans for Draco's inheritence and deciding on their fall wardrobes. <3 Seamus
babytyggeryss @ July 7 2003, 00:12:00 UTC |
But why plan their wardrobes when they can have fun with Harry's? Harry seemed to enjoy his last shopping trip with Seamus.
(parent)hobaggins @ July 7 2003, 00:14:33 UTC |
And Harry is in jsut a little bit more need of wardrobe help than Draco and Seamus are......
but then again Draco did get all Iloveyouthewayyouaredon'tbuynewclothesan
babytyggeryss @ July 7 2003, 00:24:46 UTC |
Yes, Seamus and Draco are very stylish.
Draco might have felt left out (I don't think that's a feeling he likes when it comes to Harry). He and Seamus both discussed Harry's wardrobe, but only Seamus got to go shopping. I think things would be different now, in that respect.
theantimodel @ July 7 2003, 01:29:02 UTC |
I agree, the Seamus/Draco interaction scares me, too many possibilities of something happening. Which would make me so incredibly sad.
(parent)hobaggins @ July 7 2003, 03:29:34 UTC |
Hmmmm... do you really think anything could ever happen from it? I really don't see it. I really believe they are just platonic friends....
(parent)fourscore @ July 7 2003, 07:23:36 UTC |
I agree, just because Seamus is gay doesn't mean anything should come of it.
(parent)babytyggeryss @ July 7 2003, 07:47:56 UTC |
I don't think he's ready to start another relationship right now anyways. I think his breakup with Dean really did a number on him, he'll be single for a while.
Seamus has always struck me as being very intuitive, I'm sure he has a vague idea of what is going on between Harry and Draco. Harry is his friend and if Draco is someone that he's interested in, I can't see Seamus trying to steal Draco away.
tabiji @ July 7 2003, 17:16:47 UTC |
Nothing really even has to happen for Harry to be upset by it though. Just knowing that his friends are spending time together while he's stuck with the Dursleys is enough. Plus, he was bothered/jealous/upset/something by Seamus before, but I don't know if it was ever determined whether it was because Seamus was spending time with Draco, or because Harry didn't appreciate it when Seamus "took over" Harry's weekend at Dogear.
(parent)fourscore @ July 7 2003, 21:42:55 UTC |
Why would Draco even visit with Seamus? The only place it has come up as an idea is here, so I really don't think Harry is in any danger. Draco sat and talked about visiting with Millicent, too, and Draco is the one who told Ron he was rubbing it in Harry's face.
(parent)tabiji @ July 7 2003, 21:48:35 UTC |
I'm hoping he doesn't, but they have hung out together before, and that was when they weren't ridiculously bored...(the paper dolls & the tea party).
yea lj is sucking

I'm sorry if this goes through twice. -.-

Hm. I don't think Sirius or Remus was saying that Harry had to update his journal to get a hold of them. He could easily owl them. The journals are homework so I don't think they'd tell Harry he has to do his homework every three days.
(parent)black_dog @ July 7 2003, 10:01:25 UTC |
True, they're homework, but they're also a real-time way of staying in touch with his friends, faster than owls (and he only has one owl.) That's maybe one reason people were making such a fuss about the fact that "at least he'll have his laptop" for the summer.
I want to sign up with the others who are worried about Harry's silence. It's a little disturbing that Harry never answered what Seamus called the "party in his journal," not to mention missing the three-day contact deadline. I mean, when last we heard, Vernon was on the floor fixing cables and Harry was considering helping him as soon as he got tired of laughing. He should have been on-line to make a further comment by now.
It's probably nothing big like Voldemort, if we're to believe Dumbledore about the family magic. But it could still be nasty. Paranoid musing: did Dudley (who presumably is computer competent at least) see Ernie's remark about Harry being gay? And the Dursley's flipped out?
merlion @ July 7 2003, 11:08:40 UTC |
Such a subtle observation about Ernie's comment! I'm very impressed. But as always, we shall have to wait and wait and wait and then see :)
(Despite the whining, we know we love it!)

Err...what?
babytyggeryss @ July 7 2003, 07:34:43 UTC |
Sirius seems, to me, to be the type who would crash the Dursley house at any time if Harry was in trouble or needed him in any way. I doubt he cares if these people are inconvenienced.

the bit i didn't get was the "waking up #4". what is this #4?

Oh! And now eill finally find out WHAT is there in the shed. *dies from curiosity*
(parent)black_dog @ July 7 2003, 09:54:11 UTC Re: SHED!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Well, Ron is going to find out. Knowing NA, we may have to wait a little longer.

The love between the pups is nice, isn't it?
I think the no visiting Harry might be a student thing. From the 1st July entry of one Sirius Black: "At least he's got the laptop. And Hedwig. If we don't hear from him every three days, then I'll be back there." I think they are following the end of OotP cannon; Remus and co. tell Harry that they'll be checking on him every 3 days.
No one has posted that there has been no word from Harry. I would think that Remus would be paying attention to how many days pass (moms do stuff like that) and Sirius has been just yanking on the least to scare the Dursleys. I hope that someone posts tonight saying that a trip was made to #4 and that Harry is ok.
tabiji @ July 7 2003, 22:04:25 UTC |

Heheh...so Remus is mom? I love that!
Actually, I'm a bit surprised that Draco hasn't started to fuss about Harry not replying to him.
babytyggeryss @ July 7 2003, 22:18:24 UTC |
Harry hasn't posted back to anyone so if Draco starts to fuss it would draw attention to him. He doesn't want attention when it comes to his relationship with Harry. Now if Harry posted to everyone but Draco, It would be expected that he'd fuss about it.
Now when people start posting that Harry hasn't posted after 4 days and they worry, Draco will put in his two knuts. The "I miss you, are you OK?" thing dressed as biting humor.
As for the Remus as mom thing, that just flew off the tips of my fingers. When I re-read that comment now, I feel stupid but I'm glad you liked it. ^_^
tabiji @ July 8 2003, 03:49:23 UTC |
Yea, you'd think so, but he got all impatient and posted twice when Harry didn't answer fast enough because he'd gone shopping, and that was just a bit more than a month ago.
Draco seems to be used to getting what he wants, and he's used to having Harry's attention when he wants it...he hasn't seemed to be particularly concerned about who sees it!
charmion @ July 7 2003, 15:04:48 UTC |
I'm not sure, but according to Seamus, no one can visit Harry, so maybe neither can Sirius (or Draco, for that matter). No apparating at #4? Or did I just miss something?
Btw, just some time before that, Sirius seemed rather occupied.

Edited for LJ inexperience and general stupidity

Edit previous response: If there is a no visiting Harry bane (I don't think anyone has talked about one, he just can't leave #4) it might be for students only or be imposed by the Dursleys and does not include people they can't bully around: Sirius, Remus, Draco.
Draco's father could also ban him but we'll see how that sorts out after he passes his test.
charmion @ July 7 2003, 15:35:46 UTC |
*points up* Er...Sorry 'bout that, the deleted post was mine and is down here now.
Certainly hope you're right. I got the feeling #4 was declared a no-go area, at least for students, for some reason; but if it would be for Sirius, he would be suitably furious once again, I guess.
And, yeah, yanking his leash.

I can't believe we still haven't heard from Harry, it seems like his internet should have been up by now. And Sirius is leaving and Harry won't even have the chance to say goodbye to him, that sucks. Poor Sirius, he sounded really torn up about have to go off on the mission. I hope it's not gonna be too dangerous!
By the way, maybe instead of cut & pasting pieces of Sirius' post, you could link to it instead?
If you don't know how to do these there is a tutorial in the livejournal FAQ.
