Um..is there something "going on" between those two or is it just me?
Or maybe its just like a father/daughter relationship? I dunno, I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid.

i have faith in Arthur
after all he keeps saying : i have a wonderful family
but sometimes it sounds like he's trying to reassure himself *shrugs*
at the other hand if Pansy cheats on Draco - he'll probably be looking for confort in Harry's company, and don't we all want it? :P

Because if PS ever gave two tugs of a dead dog's cock about Pansy "cheating on him" then Millicent would have driven him mad long ago.

Very true, but she has been working on Arthur for quite some time.
(parent)flyingcarpet @ August 1 2003, 08:07:00 UTC |
I definitely got the impression that she is trying to flatter him for some purpose. It could just be to have a connection in the Ministry/ for future recommendations, but it could be for something else.
If there is anything going on, it's that she's trying to seduce him. I ♥ Arthur and he wouldn't do that. I have faith in him. ♥ ♥

God, I love Pansy. Pride of Slytherin, the girl is, I'd say.
(parent)nabiki @ August 1 2003, 09:55:20 UTC |
So perhaps Pansy is flattering him to no end, and he is just pleasantly oblivious and nothing is going on from his end? I love Arthur, and think it'd be terribly ooc for the player, but I can't help but wonder, seeing those posts @_@ I feel dirty for not trusting arthur :P

God I hope so. It would be too weird if he did cheat.

just like a father/daughter relationship
Look at Pansy's relationship with her own father and compare it to her relationship with her mother.
1anonymous1 @ August 1 2003, 11:08:09 UTC |
I see, so just looking for a little dad-type affection?
(parent)Anonymous @ August 1 2003, 11:11:50 UTC |
I wouldn't so neatly package it into any one slot, but I do think there are definite overtones of that theory.
(parent)1anonymous1 @ August 1 2003, 11:24:32 UTC |
Oh, that is awesome. And you gave me a thumbs up, squee! my first ever!
*fangirls*
I mean...if you are.*wink wink*
=D

Now, this has absolutely nothing to do with the subject, but could someone please link me a fic where Harry/Draco/Snape has/have a tupperware party? It's at PSA, but I for some reason I can't get there. So if it's found at some other web site, I'd appreciate a link. Thank you.

It's been moved but not everything's been put up yet because it's still in the process of getting set up. (Or something.)
adolfa @ August 1 2003, 13:35:28 UTC |
Evidently it is not just you. However, that opinion may be slightly biased. *cough*
In any case, I wouldn't expect Arthur to do something like that. He's obviously horribly devoted to Molly -- and just think of all that shed time! He could be in there for the rest of his life.
1anonymous1 @ August 1 2003, 13:50:04 UTC |
Oh, I dunno, I bet she could keep him in there for a very long time.;)
That wasnt suppose to sound so sexual...*look*
hobaggins @ August 1 2003, 14:41:56 UTC |
I think that Arthur just likes the attention from a "pretty young thing."
I think it makes him feel good. I don't think he'd really actually do anything, but being around Pansy, and having her act in a sexual manner as.she.always.does probably makes him feel young and wanted.
I don't think that Arthur would do anything
Anonymous @ August 1 2003, 19:56:03 UTC |
Check it out. Lucius is calling him on this whole thing and Arthur is not happy about it.
(parent)merlion @ August 2 2003, 08:05:13 UTC |
Lucius, a true inhabitant of the gutter, is getting to air his views all over. First Snape and Cho and now, Arthur and Pansy.
(parent)saffronlie @ August 2 2003, 08:03:46 UTC |
This makes me think that Arthur genuinely doesn't know what he's doing. He doesn't intend for things to be "that way" with Pansy. Just as Pansy likes to charm and seduce because she's Pansy, Arthur's being nice because he's Arthur. Except for the massage thing. That's a bit iffy, but still, I think, part of Arthur's naivety where pretty young things are concerned. He sure has no trouble giving it to Lucius as good as he gets.
