I'll do the links in a moment, but wasn't Pansy at the party, I'm confused. Didn't Ginny tell Cho she was standing near Pansy near the beginning? And now Pansy apologizes for not seeing her at the party?

Pansy apologizes to Ginny for not attending the party. However, Ginny says she's standing near Pansy at the party.
Hmmm... really, indeed.

Hey, if bad things come in threes, on a good note, this should be the last split-up. Seamus/Dean. Sirius/Remus. Molly/Arthur. Now the last two will kiss and make up, and it will all be nice and good and fun. (I love me some Seamus/Charlie and Boot/Thomas. Those hook-ups are very, very Hot)

Pansy's wanting to do lunch with Ginny?
Hmmmm. She's turning into quite the little Weasley-stalker!
babytyggeryss @ August 6 2003, 23:21:27 UTC |
Maybe Pansy found out about Bill "I wear leather trousers" Weasley. ^_~

But to be serious, I'm wondering if Pansy isn't using Ginny to get back into Arthur's good graces. Once that is done, she'll be back on track to claw her way up the Ministery Ladder.

I have always thought there are few things as attractive as positive outlook.

Perhaps I'm paranoid lately, but I think Cho ought to be a little worried. At any rate, it's interesting to see that Pansy's devious, supercilious come-ons aren't limited to male Weasleys.
(parent)tabiji @ August 7 2003, 00:07:57 UTC |
Hmmm. I don't know...in my mind Pansy's just innately flirtatious, whether she's trying to be, or not, even when she's not scheming.
(parent)saffronlie @ August 7 2003, 05:03:59 UTC |
Yeah. And I'm not sure what can be gained by getting into Ginny's good graces, aside from just another link with the Weasleys, and maybe back to Arthur. Although I'm still not sure exactly what she wants from him, except an 'in' at the Ministry. What is certain is that Pansy's a smart girl when she knows what she wants. :D

*raises eyebrow*
Pansy confirms that she wasn't at the party... even though Arthur says he spoke with her right before Molly stormed out of Dogear.

There go all my conspiracy theories.
That's probably the downfall of running so smoothly, when you make a mistake people assume it's part of the plot and start theorizing.
tabiji @ August 7 2003, 00:14:28 UTC |
Heh! Rons wants to give it to Pansy but good. But I don't think it's what she has in mind :)

oooh, threats of physical violence in all caps. *drool*
Yeah, so it's fucked up, so what? It's hot.
saffronlie @ August 7 2003, 05:11:27 UTC |
I'm really worried about Molly, though. I mean, no one's actually heard from her, right? And where could she possibly have to go to? I guess she might have sought refuge with Remus, if he hadn't left his house. Short of Hogsmeade or The Leaky Cauldron, I don't know where she could be staying. Oh, unless with one of her many sons, scattered around the world. I do hope she's not stuck somewhere without Muggle money or savvy.
