Anyone else think that Ron is being a real prat to Pansy? Whom I adore by the way.

Also, Cho has stepped in. http://www.livejournal.com/users/blushcrush/15241.html?replyto=93833

Ron always was a bit overprotective.

True. I just dont like them being mean to the Pansy.=D I imagine she can handle her own though.

She seems to be handling it well.

Ron's a bit overprotective but is completely justified. Pansy was all over Arthur last week, but since that avenue's been cut off, she's moved on to Ginny. She also flirts with Ron every chance she gets. What does she want out of the Weasleys, eh??

But she is always like that! Shes a natural flirt. Besides, it takes two to tango.

Though I don't think Ginny is "tango-ing" per se. I think she's just enjoying the flattery and is too innocent to know that Pansy might be buttering her up. Cho and Ron certainly know, though! I think Ron (as usual) is overreacting, but I think Cho has about the right attitude toward Pansy. Not ready to kill, but definitely territorial.

I agree, but why not share the love? Share and all that.

I agree, but why not spread the love? Share and all that.

My theory (tentative, of course, you can never be quite sure with Pansy) is that she's enjoying the Weasley family closeness, something she never had growing up. I think she's trying to get into that circle, but she doesn't quite know how to act, so she just tries to be very very friendly. I also think she enjoys spending time with Arthur and Ginny because they're so innocent - they really don't think to question her motives for flirting with them.
