Minerva the Quidditch Enthusiast
Mood: contemplative
McGonagall analyzes the upcoming year in Quidditch. Any overanalysis from hardcore nragers as to the real purpose of the entry? Are the Quidditch players metaphors for players, or larger forces at work? Or is it Minnie just being a sports enthusiast?
Personally, I'm interested at the idea that Albus plans to host another social gathering. McGonagall specifically mentions last time's difficulties, and expresses her doubt that Albus will ever be able to host a successful party.
Am I the only one that read that and thought of Mary Tyler Moore's horrible, horrible parties? I can't have been the ONLY Nick-At-Nite child....

The best one was where the power went out, and the Johnny Carson showed up...

I believe it's a coded message. If you read carefully (and cross out a bunch of letters) it says "Harry and Draco are together now".
Uh, you have to really want to see it. :P

Er. I guess you're right. I still don't know how you managed to read her post as a code. But if so it's a code, it's a code.

How exactly does this "code" work?
Or are you simply in fangirl mode again? ...wait, skip that; we're all in that mode whenever we're posting here.

Is that like the Biblecode thing, where you have to take one letter, then skip over four and then go sideways for three letters and then grab the first thing that looks devilish, just to be able to say that "John Lennon will die!" or something equally sensible?

It all depends on whether McGonagall uses the number seven.
