Oh, well I was having a discussion with a friend about life-threatening situations, as we seem to be in them frequently.

He told me a story involving a forest, a slashed tire, and strange goings on. At one point, two twinnish-looking burly men in flannel and beards appear and say strange things.

Our topic of discussion was then the evils of flannel, and I wanted that link because I felt that potterstinks expressed the proper horror for flannel and I could use it as demonstration.

Plus, that picture was really hideous.

Plus, it was such a good exchange I wanted it saved in my memories for future amusement. :.)

If any other Nrager wants to do some niffling, I was trying today to find the thread where Ginny and Ron talk about wishing they could marry each other? I thought it was from the Veritaserum wedding disaster of May, but couldn't find it in the threads from that evening. (Originally I was looking for the account of Millicent and Terry's date and the bad, bad pony riding... N_A archive browsing is such fun!)
