woah...
Mood: shocked
Narcissa has deleted all her icons except her mourning one.

Well, if it really was Narcissa who did the deleting, there's less to worry about. (Probably not something a ghost could do.)

Good point. Though some characters I think consider their icons to work magically (I think Lupin said that).
Still, her icon says, "I mourn," rather than, "I'm dead," or "Everybody else mourns."

Maybe she doesn't want to lose her icon's key word in other posts? Sounds like people are being too meta, IMO. :)

On the other hand, if it was Lucius who went in and deleted her icons, it would be natural for him to say "I" mourn.

So you think the Malfoys would share passwords? ;-)

No, but I think they might each have invested in a keystroke logger. :)

I'd be warmed by that thought, except both pe_eee_ee_eeves and moaningmyrtle have posted before.

I recall a mention somewhere in canon that ghosts are confined to certain areas of haunting, but then I could be wrong, and I might've read that in a fic somewhere.

In Gof, Myrtle tells Harry that she followed Olive Hornby(?) to her home and haunted her there till someone did something about it (I don't remember what offhand) and she had to return to Hogwarts.

'Oh, yes, very easy to forget Myrtle's dead,' said Myrtle, gulping, looking at him out of swollen eyes. 'Nobody missed me, even when I was alive. Took them hours and hours to find my body - I know, I was sitting there waiting for them. Olive Hornby came into the bathroom - "Are you in here again sulking, Myrtle?" she said. "Because Professor Dippet asked me to look for you -" And then she saw my body ... oooooh, she didn't forget it until her dying day, I made sure of that ... followed her around and reminded her, I did, I remember at her brother's wedding -'
...
'- and then, of course, she went to the Ministry of Magic to stop me stalking her, so I had to come back here and live in my tooilet.'
I think it's possible to make the assumption that ghosts can go practically anywhere they want?

So I am either v. stupid or unable to read between the lines or both, what's going on with Narcissa?
