I seriously wonder if the players even know themselves. They've said quite often that they were playing for themselves; it's not like they're out there to torture us while they cackle in the back room. I wonder if they created situations (most memorably the screened comment and HB) where they had to hide the truth even from themselves, yet let their characters act/react as if they had full knowledge. If they actually knew these things it would destroy the same tension and anticipation (real-ness) that we feel -- and the game was for them, not for us.

Just a thought.
