I was thinking that Charlie gave it to him, since he already knew how to make them and asked the girls to give Remus the first one he made. :D

Oh, and he does have that unrequited crush on Lupin, doesn't he? I hadn't thought of him; I was thinking it was either Sirius or Severus, with it probably the latter, but I wasn't sure if that was just my wishful thinking or if we actually knew. I guess we don't know.
