One thing that bothers me (has nothing to do with the H/D, but is about her post): she's completely cracking down on the homophobia, but then she goes and uses the word 'mudblood'. Isn't that kind of prejudice just as bad?

Irony at its best.

She's still a Slytherin at heart. :-)

But isn't Slytherin=pureblood bigots just fanon?

Even in N_A we've got Queenie Greengrass who isn't a pureblood.

There are plenty of people who are against racism but all for homophobia. And although the reverse is probably not so true in our society, it might not be so in wizarding society. While it may be natural for purebloods to be gay, it's probably not natural for purebloods to be mudbloods, if you don't count Queenie Greenknees.

There are plenty of people who are against racism but all for homophobia.

Which is the main reason I see it as the worst form of prejudice in society - all those people who consider themselves liberal and enlightened. You stole my pet rant, dude.

Welcome to the Wizarding World. Nobody said it had to make sense.
