Revising & Libraries Revisited
It's hard to believe it's almost end of term. I think I've revised pretty well for next week. I mean, there are still a few bits here and there that I want to cross reference, double check and all that, but, well, I think I've done a fair job. Besides it looks like the library will be relatively free this weekend should I want to make a last minute change to anything or need a quotation check.

I don't quite get the whole Martin Miggs phenomenon. I know it's popular, but, well, it does rather seem the sort of publication which is heavy on the illustrations and light on the substance. Of course I can't say for absolute certain as I've never really read them. Mum and Dad weren't really wild about popular fiction as I grew up. They would read to me from Arithmancy Digest, Magic Today, and English Rune when I was little. Those are the sort of publications found in a library, or at librarian's home after all.

That's what I have to look forward to this summer too, endless days of helping Mum at the library. I like books, honestly I do, but, well, sometimes even a Ravenclaw needs a break. They have a computer at the library but I don't know if it's set up to allow access to this project. Er, no, I guess it's not because Mum and Dad haven't said anything about it, and ummm, all things considered, I think that they would have by now. Maybe I can talk Dad into getting something set up somehow.

Oh! Hey, Seamus! Do you know what happened to those two rolls of parchment that were sitting on the table? I think one was my charms essay and the other was a roll of potions notes from earlier this term.

I have the potion notes. And you handed in your charms essay, remember? Flitwick was in the library and you just gave it to him? I think all this revising has stolen your short term memory.

I like Martin Miggs. Though, I don't know what Lavender is on about with this Martin/Sissy thing; it's pretty clear that he only has eyes for that Scorpio stalker of his.

Did I? Oh Merlin I did! Revising shall be the end of me I think. I'm glad someone still knows which end is up.

Do you really think so? Is Scorpio as bad as all that? I don't know that much about it really.

They're always staring at each other and stuff, and even though they hate each other they also really know each other, better than anyone else. Know what I mean? And Scorpio isn't really bad, he's just a big idiot who spends too much time listening to that goon of an uncle of his.

So, yeah, if you want to get out of the library you could come to Ireland this summer. I'm not thinking I'll have any other visitors, anyway. Unless maybe Hannah can come.

That makes sense. They, ummm, understand each other better than the other other characters would? You know, looking at the cover, they don't make that bad looking a couple, really.

Could I? I'd have to ask Mum and Dad and all that of course, but I think it would be lovely. Well, it sounds lovely at least.

It would be lovely! It would be great! You could meet my sister and my cousins and we can just generally raise hell and forget about everything and I'll give you some flying lessons and it will be great!

Are you sure your folks won't mind? I mean it does sound like a lot of peopleā€¦ I'm not sure I'd make a great, umm, hell raiser, exactly, but some flying would be a welcome break from all the dusting, catching, re-chaining and other library chores.
