Draco Is Concerned About Harry?

Sounds like it. Also, Cho visits the Weasley's, and hilarity ensues.

I'm just trying to imagine someone with six and a half fingers trying to ward of the gnomes. XD

Finally posted to NrAged after a short while of lurking. Rejoice.

Yes, I think Draco is concerned, he just can't or won't come out and say it.

Does anyone think that whatever is in the shed might have something to do with an attempt to get Harry away from #4? Everyone is being so secretive about it. Or maybe it's for Harry's birthday? Whatever they are planning, the twins and Arthur don't want Molly finding out about it.

I feel so sorry for Cho; I hope her arm grows back ok and she is able to smooth things over with Molly.

Guess Molly acts more like OopP Molly than GoF Molly. I mean I don't think her interaction with Cho could be appropriate before the 21st:)

I've actually changed my opinion about Molly. I perceive her much stricter now.
I suppose Molly in NA will change as well
(just a thought^_^)

Mm, perhaps the accident at Hogwarts made her more protective over her children? I mean, she saw Harry as a son.

In OotP, Molly would do anything to protect her children; we saw her worst fear. However, she comes on too strong, believing that the less information the children are exposed to, the better.

This is a very common parent thing, but most of the time it back-fires, leaving people in worse situations than they would have been in had they been educated.

It's kind of like the sex issue. Not that I'm saying one issue has anything to do with the other, but the parental response seems to be similar.

True.

I'm not sure if there was a lot of interaction between Molly and Cho, but I generally thought that Molly's reaction to Cho arriving in the Burrow was more defensive and irritated that past encounters. Which lead me to the theory that if Harry was injured, it might have driven home the fact that her family could be injured, especially at a time like this.

Then again, though I'm too lazy to link to the post, I think we also saw that Molly was afraid of what Sirius would do to her children when she was under the influence of veritaserum. So perhaps I'm utterly wrong and that defensiveness has always been there?

Though if Arthur is being cold to Remus about Charlie having to return to Romania, then my "Family time!" post should just be ignored. Bah, humbug.

Indeed. Why is Molly being so chilly toward Cho? Is it the interruption of her stew, the idea that Cho has somehow invaded "sacred family time", or lingering inability to accept Cho/Ginny?

This is probably patently obvious to someone else, but am a (relatively) new reader. Gracias!

I'm thinking maybe she still doesn't want Ginny to be with Cho, but I think it's because Cho is another girl. Also, Mr. Weasley just posted to Remus about Charlie having to go back to Romania, so I'm wondering if maybe there's a bit of homophobia going on with the Weasley parents?

I'm probably way off base since I haven't bothered to check the NA archives for anything to support/counter this theory.

Molly had some "EVERYONE IS GAY. WHY." issues, but I didn't think it was so bad for her to resort to being that defensive over Ginny.

I don't think that was homophobia, though, it was just Molly wondering if she'd done something wrong which sometimes even the most open-minded parents will do. And understandable, with three of her children gay, that she would wonder if she was doing something, even if she didn't care.
