Since the ?mode=reply may make one miss the post with comments, Lupin has commented, with replies and counter-replies and fun.

The key things are threefold: 1) What could Lupin be working on that needs a young pair of eyes? 2) Okay, now what if we take the "script" part into account and don't consider Seamus/Lupin as a possibility? 3) I like "aged socks". I shall have to approrpriate that term.

My answer to 2? He's writing something to Dumbledore. Another question: 4) Why a PHEONIX quill?

4) because it's damn hard to get a phoenix quill.

I'm guessing he is writing to Dumbledore, wanting his honey back home.

I do hope Sirius returns soon because I am SO not comfortable with Remus making eyes at Seamus!

The Seamus/Remus flirting is not just a little squicky. Not that a Seamus/Charlie/Remus threesome isn't rather apropos. If you just go by the age gaps between Seamus and Charlie and Charlie and Remus, it's practically non-squicky.

I am actually rather concerned. Is Remus just too bored of Charlie?

The age thing doesn't squick me. I loooove younger men! :D The Remus being Seamus' teacher, and his friend's Oddfather and um, yea...married... that is what squicks me!

Er. I thought Remus was married to Sirius and Charlie was now with Seamus. I thought Remus and Charlie had broken up before Sirius and Remus got married (in fact, I thought Charlie and Remus' relationship had been a rebound thing on Remus' part).

Do you mean Seamus may be bored of Charlie?

Well, he's perving on SEAMUS. Why can't he be content to perv on Charlie?

Now that has some interesting potential. Although I agree it is more than a little squicky. Sirius needs to get home soon cause I'm thinking all this time without is bad for Remus. Is this the longest they've gone apart?

Because yeah, as soon as your godson's teenaged friends start looking damned attractive, you know there's something a little wrong.

I don't think they're flirting flirting. Just... Seamus is naturally flirty. He appreciates a goodlooking boy (or man) and sees nothing wrong with making that appreciation known, especially if the object of this appreciation won't be uncomfortable with it.

And he himself says, that while he might have done something about his appreciation if Remus weren't married, he is, and therefore off-limits.

So, don't panic. I imagine Sirius will soon be back and intent on showing Remus that it's not just young Healers-in-training who appreciate him.

Can anyone tell me if Ernie is making a reference?
