Mood: amused

Draco has onions and knows not what to do with them.

(hope I'm doing this right...)

i think he's referring to everybody...

i wonder what those black and silver boxes he's talking about are?

takeonelook @ August 16 2003, 16:37:57 UTC

Probably TVs and computers and CD players and DVDs etc..

That's what my first thought was at least.

I agree with the "everybody," although I think it's probably less Molly and Arthur than the other two sets.

I, too, am intrigued by the boxes. Hm...

Yes of course. I am destined to screw up everything. >>;;

Personally I think that he's most referring to his parents, though it certianly applies to everyone. Besides, Sirius and Remus just act all mopey and subdued and regretful; Molly and Arthur don't seem to be arguing either, just strifing. The only real public row is his parents. Which has to be fun for him.

*eyebrows shoot up*

When exactly was Draco in Harry's room?

akutenshi2007 @ August 16 2003, 16:28:55 UTC

Could the black and silver boxes be cameras? If the flash went off when he picked it up, that might make it appear to blow up.

If it is, can you imagine the picture of a startled Draco? XD

*dusts off grappling hook and lock picks* Count me in!

That's what I thought. It wouldn't make sense that Tvs or DVDs or anything exploded.... plus.. that would *hurt* if they exploded. It would make sense for the flash

And he said he'd never used a camera in his life.

Any other ideas?

Make some greek salad. For some reason my mum always makes greek salad of olives, feta cheese, lettuce and onions. I don't understand her. Her salad makes our refrigerator smell.

With red onions? Red onions are good in salad. So are salad onions. But ordinary brown onions might be a bit ew.

I wish they were red onions. But no. Ordinary brown onions they are. Woe me.

Things Draco could do with his onions

I wish I could think of something witty/filthy to say.

My only suggestion is: Hats.

I'm not quite sure what that means though.

saffronlie @ August 17 2003, 23:00:10 UTC

He could sew the onion skins together to make a hat!

dari_brit @ August 17 2003, 21:15:48 UTC Re: Things Draco could do with his onions

He could decoct the skins to make a rich brassy orange dye.

What? Is it my fault that I paid attention in Potions and Herbology?

(Simultaneous sucking up to both potions_master and Sprout-- how much better does it get?) ^_^

Did you know that according to the National Onion Association the average Libyan consumes 66.8 pounds of onions a year?

This is an oddly satisfying piece of trivia.

I suggest that Draco make a light pasta salad, seeing how these can be made with or without tomatoes.
