nocturne_alley astrology. My curiosity was piqued by this post from 
dari_brit and I have nothing better to do, so I have spent hours compiling astrological information on all the characters that I found birthdays for. There are no natal charts or personality readings, just an evaluation of Sun Sign Patterns and the way they interact with each other (including a rough kind of compatibility).
Here is a list of the characters and their signs. A complete list of all the Sun Sign Patterns, what they mean, and which characters have which patterns together can be found here. Lastly (and probably most helpfully) an alphabetical--or something close to it--list of each character and a short summary of how they interact with every other character may be found here.
(I got all the birthdays from each character’s respective user info page, and all the astrological goodness I took from Linda Goodman’s Love Signs--bibliography on this page.)
EDIT: Anyone want to theorize about the signs of the characters who don't have their birthdays posted? Any players want to reveal their dates and be added to the mix?

It wasn't that big a thing really, just time-consuming. I am very into astrology, so when dari_brit made that post, I was like, "Why have I not done that yet?" So I just looked up everyone's birthday, found out their signs, looked up a section of my favorite Astrology book, and started typing. I'd have done half of the characters to satisfy my own curiosity anyway; I thought I may as well share it with everyone else while I was at it.

I believe it's around April 4th; you might wanna check Padma's journal archives. I think she actually did some horoscopes for a lot of people last spring...

What don't you get, sweetheart? Granted, there is no really simple way to explain all that, but this page should be pretty user-friendly. Really, the confusing page that lists all the patterns with explainations is just a more detailed version of the information I used for the character interaction analyses.

Oh, it's not that I don't get the concept of astrology, it's the fact that I don't get how astrology could be applied to nocturne_alley. *a little lost here*

*shrug* They've got birthdays. Perhaps they are the birthdays of the players, in which case the personalities would shine through. Perhaps the dates were picked on purpose astrologically. Perhaps its all a load of bull anyway and doesn't matter at all. Fact is that some of the characters fit their astrological signs. It would follow that if, for example, Remus acts like a Scorpio and Sevvie acts like a Virgo, then they'd get along the way Scorps and Virgins get on. At the very least, it's entertaining (or at least I think so). That's why I put all this crap together in the first place.

I'd just like to say that you kick ALL the butt. Seriously. If you gathered together the world's supply of butt into one convenient location, you would definitely be able to kick all of it. No question.
Anyway...my point? Yes. This must have taken soooo much time. And I like Linda Goodman's Love Signs too. ^_^

Thanks. It did, actually, take a few hours. I would have done it for like half of the characters anyway, I figured I may as well organize it and share.
Isn't Linda wonderful? I adore that book. It's so very accurate and easy to understand even for a beginner and full of funny tidbits. Great stuff.
