I've been watching this rpg for about seven months now and I am so hooked I check my comp more than is advised by the surgeon general. I just found N_raged like two months ago. I figured it's high time to post a 'hi, wow all of you people are obsessed too? Thank God I'm not the only one!'. So to make this more on topic. What is everyone's favorite post of all time? Since I'm a H/D fan I'd have to say mine would be the one where Lisa exposed PS's most treasured item--the golf clubs from Harry. Or...so hard to choose...the one where Harry says "I'll Wait." ^_^

Have been following NA and nraged for over a year now, and you're right it's beyond obsessive. The characters are almost real, they're so well done. I have two fav events; one's I even go back when the game is slow; The Veritaserum in the punch and the outing.

Glued to my computer during both of those.

I'd have to say The Outing, for the sheer "OMGWTF" factor of it all. And the one that had something to do with a bright orange waistcoat that looked like a hunting vest, though I can't remember for the life of me when that was. And all the ones that xnera named, too.

It's hard to pick a favorite-ever thread, but I know the one I most enjoyed watching in real time: this one, here. It's a JH-PS thread, with Ron joining in later. It's a little after the outing, and Sinistra has assigned Harry and Draco to work on an Astronomy project together, and Draco would rather hang himself. What makes it fun is that we have no idea at this point how they feel about each other in the wake of the outing or whether they can face each other. They circle around each other a little, at first, and then Harry gently and then more aggressively, pushes Draco to join him at Dogear to work on the project together.

I remember watching it with my heart in my mouth -- where is Harry coming from? Does he really want PS and how far will he push things? Will PS freak out and run away? Later Ron joins in and you think he'll ruin it, but somehow he doesn't, and maybe that's the beginning of something, too. It's sort of the first thread that showed that there was some real promise to the relationship post-outing -- they're each pushing, probing, taking risks, creating some space for getting along. It's wonderful.
