First post, conspiracy theory edition.
Mood: conspiring

Hmm. Is potions_master really being pissy here, or do I detect just the slightest hint of concern? And why did lupercus seem "harassed" when deanthomas met him outside Snape's office?

There is a hint of concern, yes.

Poor Remie.

Plus, remember Snape's own fearful near-brush with Remus as a werewolf. I think the whole idea of putting students close to one brings up a lot of old anger and fear.

More than a hint of concern, I'd say:

"The Poena Relever Potion has come to a boil."

Roughly I think that's a "punishment relieving" potion.

and

"I shall then take it up in a phial and go to the Hall to silence that dolorous varmint."

Snape is giving him some painkiller if I'm right.

The tone of the whole post seemed to me to indicate a kind of prickly concern/respect for Lupin and a cynicism for the student reaction.
