Heehee.

Alright, this is a bit old, and if people have commented on it already, make me stop. ;)

"However, I hardly see how it's fair that Potter is spending Easter with you while I'm virtually abandoned."

Mhmmm. Poor Draco, abandoned by his onetruelove.

Ah, but he's got Pansy now.

I still hopelessly cling to my theory that Pansy is in the middle of exacting a cold revenge for being sent to Beauxbatons.

Stage 1: get back into the Malfoy good graces
Stage 2: isolate Draco from other friends/lovers (on-going project)
Stage 3: encourage Draco's dependence/trust on only Pansy

Stage 4: am not Slytherin enough to figure it out yet, but it will be subtle, brilliant, and it will hurt. Whether or not Draco/Malfoys will ever figure out it was all due to Pansy's machinations also up in the air.

Yes, it's more likely that Pansy is not holding a grudge and just working all the angles she can, but we all have our favorite N_A things to be in denial about...

I agree. Actually, I'm wondering about Pansy's ulterior motives and further actions. What 's the actual purpose of destroying all PS's dates? Causing PS no way out but back for her help. Hardly admitting that it's just a friendly, sincere help whatsoever. Lucius doesn't seem to trust her as well.

Gosh! Why why why do they have to make everything so difficult?

Because they are eeevil and we love the abuse? :)

Really, observe the squeeing here over H/D and the horrible things that happen to the boys after. (Harry, dear, I have tried to see both sides, and I know there is more to it than this, but my brain still plays the constant refrain: "he is not good enough for you")

The obvious answer about Pansy's motives is that she wants Draco for herself--be it a crush or just social/$$-related--and is using crafty means to accomplish this. But that seems so pedestrian.

Pansy will emerge as the real power to be feared. Draco as the Slytherin leader? Ha. Pansy pulls all the strings. No one else has her unfailing facade of charm and underlying ruthlessness. Lucius and Draco are far too obvious in comparison.

I would squee over Pansy, but am fearful of attracting her ever-so-charming attention.

Totally agree with the Slytherin Power issue. So far, PS seems to have been too involved in his own personal issues/traumas to actually realise. However, I wouldn't like to underestimate him.

Your Pansy theory is highly possible, even though, she's not even in love with PS (referring to her poems). PS should better exit his Denial-Land quickly before everything becomes too complicated. Wondering about Pansy's reaction if PS/J_H ' relationship starts threatening her.

Hahaha, I read that at face value, that is, with him being really frustrated because he's so separated from his mother that even people he's *supposed* to hate are spending time with her while he's stuck at Hogwarts.

I love how much he misses his mommy. *coddles*

*Grins* I know. That's how I should take it. But I'm a helpless perv.
