He could be cloned so that all family images would be left intact. I mean, I know there are all those moral questions about cloning, but when just_harry is involved, I hardly think it's a sin since everyone would like to have one anyway. In a completely innocent way.

Apart from that, I think this could be the chance for them to make amends. I really can't see Ron turning down the offer, but I can't say for sure that Ron will react well to whatever it is that Harry has to say. I really think that he wants this to be the chance for them to make up, but we'll just have to see.

First: awww, they are so cute and all not sure what to say! They must be friends again, it is very awkward to not be speaking to your best friend, and poor J_H doesn't deserve that (nor Ron, I suppose ^^)
Secondly: When I first read that, I was curious about the timing. Potterstinks just recently made that comment about the alcohol, which Harry never responded to and Blaise implied was a bad move, and now Harry suddenly wants to make up with Ron. Perhaps they have nothing to do with anything, but it was the first thought that popped into my head, especially since Ron was acting somewhat like Draco was replacing him. This is very theoretical, but is it possible that Harry felt uncomfortable with the path his last public conversation with Draco took and hurried to rebuild all the bridges they broke so he'd have more support? I luff Harry and Ron and want them to be friends again without ulterior motives, but it's so out of the blue! I guess I'm a bit of a rabid H/Der to immediately suspect more from this, but oh well :P.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm rather deluded. And even though I'm an H/D shipper, I still wish Harry hadn't ditched Ron like that XP. Friends are important too! :O

Yes, he probably should have planned to talk to Ron at a more convenient time, but it is at least a start, and hopefully Ron isn't too upset.
