A wizard's duel? Oh dear Merciful Merlin. I was hoping we could meet in Hogsmeade on Saturday to catch up as I miss you and am worried terribly about you. That shan't be happening now as I see that [info]boot_boy has challenged you to a duel at noon. Although I am beside myself with concern, I do believe that you are a very brave, selfless boy and very much a proper Malfoy. Defending Miss Bulstrode's honour in such a manner is commendable. I am proud of you, darling. I have arranged things with Professor Snape and shall be there just to ensure my boy does not get hurt. Afterwards perhaps we could travel down to Hogsmeade, no? Of course, I should like to take a few minutes to encourage Mister Boot to switch to a plain metallic eyeliner. Glitter is so very passe.

And they'd be so helpful, too, if I wanted to look like a drag queen. Perhaps you can also borrow your father's wig on Saturday. It might make you feel a bit more safe.

I do hope that your mother will attend as well. I should like to have a lengthy conversation with her concerning your manners and appearance. You do realize that glitter eyeliner went the wayside around the very same time that platform boots were officially declared 'a desperate bid by the height-challenged to feel better about themselves in the presense of naturally tall, beautiful people'? By the by, platforms were incredibly garish as is this glitter eyeliner of which I hear you are so fond. You are no Ziggy Stardust, darling. Get your head out of the clouds and lay down your glitter liner pen. Embrace the sophistication and dependability that is the little black liner pen.
