Current mood: peaceful

Animgus & Other Things
All's been quiet for the last two weeks, in the hallowed halls. Ernie and I are back on good terms, which basically means were ignoring each others existence, so everything is right in the Hufflepuff house once more.

I've been spending quite a bit of time with Mandy after her big blowout with Lisa. She's miserable, the poor thing, and rightly so. Seamus and I have been using everything at our disposal to try and cheer her up.

The Animagus Practium is all over; although not for some. Professor Black and Professor McGonagall think that we have serious potential and want to train us to become fully-fledged Animgi!

Actually, Professor Black was in rather a good mood when I went to see him in his office - maybe he and Professor Snape reconciled through their anger management classes. Also noted: it seems that the Slytherins have kicked up a rather large stink because Professor Snape dealt them out a detention because of Harry. I rather think it's just deserts after all the uncalled for comments some of them gave all of us when we all served our detentions. Actually, considering the amount of detentions that you've been getting recently, Malfoy, I would have thought that you would have gotten used to it by now.

Hannah,

I find your generalizations completely unfair. It was in fact a small minority of the Slytherin house that gave you "flack" as you put it. I don't think any of us were deserving of detention, although I do support Professor Snape's attempts to aid a student.

Pansy,

Please note the changes to my entry. I did not mean any offense by my comments.

I also wanted to say how thoughtful your offer to help Harry with his marks was.

Hannah,

I thank you for your alterations. As for my offer to Harry Potter, I wish I could say it was altruistic. I truly hope he does find some means of improving his grades for the sake of rest of us.

Re:

...for the sake of rest of us.

As hopeful as I'd like to sound, I fear that this may not be a quick event to occur.

I believe most would agree when I say the boy's forte is his quidditch ability.

How true. I do not understand the fixation of it myself.

The "amount" of detentions? I've had two, and they were well over a month ago. I'm glad to know you're keeping track, though, really. At least that gives you some sort of excitement in your life.

Re:

How could I not notice with your constant complaining? You practically have it down to an artform, Malfoy.

At least that gives you some sort of excitement in your life.

Your kind of excitement involves garter belts, stalking and sadomaschocism - and frankly, I'd really rather not.

The little Malfoy princess fancies garter belts? When combined with the element of stalking-- The Boy Who Lived in vinyl. What a good Christmas card picture *that* would be.

Better remember to close the curtains and stop up the keyhole, little Draco, there's always Professor "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but whips and chains excite me!" to think of. And as charming a -some as you three would make, I'd really rather not even go there.

The Boy Who Lived in vinyl.

Actually, Madam Hooch, I always thought leather would be more appropriate. Especially when you think that he has his Godfather as an influence.

Do kindly dry up, Xiomara.

Or should I say, Xiomara "Roses are red, violets are blue, I love my broomstick... No, I LOVE my broomstick" Hooch?
