Mood: amused

Well then...

Why am I thinking H&D on a slow boat to China? ^_^

Hee.

What amused me even more is that Harry is going clothes shopping with Seamus (c'mon, you know that's what they're doing in Hogsmeade). I guess that Harry found some reason to look good. Any bets on how much of what he buys is dark blue?

Also, I love how Draco immediately sneers at the idea of Harry going across the world for the summer, but says nothing about the possibility of his staying conveniently near Mrs. Malfoy.

hobaggins @ May 24 2003, 13:25:35 UTC

Twenty bucks on 75% of the clothing. *squee*

(parent)

notapipe @ May 24 2003, 13:45:12 UTC

He does have Seamus with him, so with a voice of moderation, I've got 5 bucks on half.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 13:48:38 UTC

It looks like Draco isn't very appreciative of the effort.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 24 2003, 13:42:30 UTC

Hogsmeade with Seamus. Shopping. Clothing stores. Dark blue clothes.

Perhaps their paper dolls were not in vain.

(parent)

lunadeath02 @ May 24 2003, 16:33:29 UTC

Yes! Go Seamus!

I think the conversation might go something like...

Seamus: No... dark blue suits you better, Harry.

Harry: It does?

Seamus: Oh yeah. and i'm sure you'd get Draco's attention better, too.

Harry: Ok. Should I buy more than one?

siren52684 @ May 24 2003, 13:58:46 UTC

hmm, who is the evan character that harry mentions?

(parent)

babytyggeryss @ May 24 2003, 14:11:10 UTC

Someone who likes Quidditch, but I think it might be a school mate because Harry isn't the type to have a pen-pal or whatever the wizarding equivalent is.

Ron didn't ask who Evan was so, whoever he is, Ron knows him or knows of him.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 24 2003, 14:18:24 UTC tat

I think Evan is an NPC who always says "You're planning to meet Mahoney? That's dumb." when you click on him. Though it alternates with "I hear the weather in Figiliona is nice this time of year."

(parent)

Anonymous @ May 24 2003, 16:01:04 UTC

Quidditch Captain, I think.

(parent)

Anonymous @ May 24 2003, 16:04:08 UTC

Of Gryffindor, yes. He's mentioned in some of Harry's older entries.

(parent)

lunadeath02 @ May 24 2003, 16:35:47 UTC

The Quidditch captain, I believe. I remember Harry mentioning him before, about doing Quidditch practice and such, but one of the teammates was in the hospital wing, or something.

(parent)

black_dog @ May 24 2003, 16:31:42 UTC

Harry may not be the only one looking for a new wardrobe.

(parent)

sistermagpie @ May 24 2003, 17:09:32 UTC

I sort of fear for what Ron is doing with those....

(parent)

hobaggins @ May 24 2003, 18:07:44 UTC

me too, me too. *eyes ron warily*

(parent)

xnera @ May 24 2003, 23:48:07 UTC

Huh. I figured that perhaps lavender had some Italian magazine, which yeah, has fashion, but also has a nice article about Maloney. Would explain why Ron would want to borrow it.

In other news, Draco is complaining that Harry is ignoring him. SQUEE!

(parent)

babytyggeryss @ May 25 2003, 00:02:16 UTC

I find that very interesting. It's almost like Draco needs Harry to remember that he exists. He might have done this with his father to an extent, but this seems unique.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 00:12:13 UTC int main(){for (i=0;i<100;i++){squee();} return 0;} void squee(){Printf("SQUEE"); return;}

Draco needs to give Harry laundry tips. Maybe then Harry will stop ignoring him.

xnera @ May 25 2003, 00:21:16 UTC Re: int main(){for (i=0;i<100;i++){squee();} return 0;} void squee(){Printf("SQUEE"); return;}

Okay, that's it. I must friend you for your subject line. Code, like H/D, makes me squee.

*tries to imagine Draco giving Harry laundry tips* Does. Not. Compute.

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 01:15:22 UTC Re: int main(){for (i=0;i<100;i++){squee();} return 0;} void squee(){Printf("SQUEE"); return;}

But but but... I didn't even include the "#include <stdio.h>" and "void squee();" above the main so it will be mistified by the call to squee() and Printf()...*friends back, because code-love is good.*

Does. Not. Compute.
Hell, it doesn't even compile.

It almost seems as if Draco is having a problem with the idea of Harry leaving for the whole summer. Plus he's upset that Harry is ignoring him. 8-)

I wonder what he'd do if Harry replied to everyone but Draco.

It appears that Draco is willing to patch things up after their little fight the other day about all things reliable and such, but Harry is not bothering to reply. Hmmmm....

What do you guys think?

(parent)

babytyggeryss @ May 25 2003, 00:17:39 UTC

I think Harry is suffering from a bad case of hurt feelings and isn't ready to talk to Draco yet.

I also think that Draco will miss Harry more than he's willing to admit (to himself or others) over the summer.

Long holidays can mean death to a changing/developing relationship. It might be easier in the magical world, as it is easier to travel from one fireplace to another than go by car or airplane.

Summer won't be a easy time for Draco, as I'm sure Lucius has some ideas on how his Heir should spend his summer. He might get some help from his mother. She wants to improve her relationship with her son, and since she is friends with Remus and seems to like Harry, I'm sure she would be up for a little visit to Remus's estate.

(parent)

lunadeath02 @ May 25 2003, 12:45:05 UTC

Harry as replied to everyone! He even said he was sorry to Draco!!

(parent)

tabiji @ May 25 2003, 00:17:55 UTC

I doubt that Harry is ignoring him intentionally, he's probably just busy since he hasn't responded to anyone yet.

It is so cute that Draco seems to be getting miffed about it though!

(parent)

Anonymous @ May 25 2003, 00:19:26 UTC

I agree. He said he was leaving for Hogsmeade just then, and probably hasn't got online since.

(parent)

xnera @ May 25 2003, 00:25:14 UTC

Also, lupercus has stated twice that he'd like to talk to Harry about something. So Harry could be busy talking to Remus/Sirius. I've been curious all night what they've been talking about.

(parent)

tabiji @ May 25 2003, 00:30:02 UTC

Heheh...Draco was ignoring Narcissa, and now he gets irked 'cause he thinks Harry is ignoring him, yet Pansy has been complaining how Draco's been so scarce.

Speaking of ignoring, I'm dying to know what the email thing is that Harry's ignored that Millicent has mentioned twice!

(parent)

ex_monochro174 @ May 25 2003, 11:14:17 UTC

I think she's mentioning the email referred to in this post, when Ron was stalking Draco.

(parent)

ex_monochro174 @ May 25 2003, 11:15:30 UTC

Unless you meant that you were wondering what it contained. Sorry. ^.^

(parent)

babytyggeryss @ May 25 2003, 00:31:30 UTC

I've been wondering too. If it's even remotely personal, we won't hear about it for a while, if at all. Harry, he doesn't want to bother people and Remus because he might feel that it isn't his place to tell.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 01:17:21 UTC

Personally, I think they're talking about potterstinks. But then, what do I know?

(parent)

tabiji @ May 25 2003, 01:46:46 UTC

Awww, ya think maybe they're giving Harry "The Talk"?

*giggling at the thought of how embarassed Harry would be*

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 02:06:29 UTC

Sirius too? *v. amused at the idea of Sirius giving "The Talk"*

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 03:48:14 UTC

I am very amused at Ron's defense of Harry. I wonder where he got that information.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 03:49:26 UTC

Also, it's so late, and innacurate (Harry COULDN'T be shopping for that long (could he?).), and so very pathetic. I love it.

(parent)

hobaggins @ May 25 2003, 09:00:10 UTC

It's interesting too that he's still using his Ron Weasley icon even while having an argument. Ron tries so very hard for Harry....

(parent)

sistermagpie @ May 25 2003, 10:12:31 UTC

God, there's Ron trying to understand colors from Dean and tlak to Draco about fashion. Somehow it's interesting and funny when Seamus and Draco do it, yet so tedious and fake when Ron talks about it. He's just determined to be involved every step of the way with Draco--ps will eventually either kill him or knuckle under and accept him.

(parent)

notapipe @ May 25 2003, 14:12:09 UTC

Then Ron will die. I can't see PS accepting him. Mildly tolerating him, maybe.
