Live Thread Alert!
Mood: bouncy
*looks around* If no one else is posting, I guess I will.
Things are heating up! Back on Mr. Weasley's post, Percy threatens to cook. Mrs. Weasley's post is still active, and Ron is educated on the snorting powers of Floo Powder. On Professor Lupin's post, Charlie brings the dragons and is that the Potions Professor I spy? And last but certainly not least, Ron is answering questions! Strut over there and do your stuff, NrAgeders.
Edit: You so smart. There goes Fred. :D
Also: The Missus wears a hole in the floor of the shed while The Mister sits with the kettle. :(

And Fred is carrying on that... thing. Yeah baby. xDD
(parent)babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 16:55:14 UTC |
Snape volunteers to help search......but only if they think Harry's in Norway.
That is still very sweet.
I am having flashes of Alan Rickman has Col. Brandon in Sense and Sensibility running around looking for Kate Winslet.
anjaliesque @ August 20 2003, 17:04:39 UTC |
I'm wondering if Snape would have made that offer if it was Sirius organizing the search. Is he sticking his beak-nose in there for Remus or Harry? Or maybe he considers it his duty.
Also, for a guy getting positively affectionate (er- compared to his usual personality) with the werewolf, this has got to sting a bit. Or maybe that's why he likes Lupin after all.
la_trix @ August 20 2003, 17:14:35 UTC |
Oh, HELL, no. Offer to help Sirius? Only if he were offering to "help" Sirius slam his fingers in a drawer or something.
(parent)babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 17:16:05 UTC |
Snape's motivations are never quite clear upon first glance..........or even after many glances. He is a private person, most of the time, and announcing them would be OOC.
If Sirius formed the search party, Snape might join because it would make Remus feel better. But I'm really not sure. It is a very interesting question.
As to the link, I think Remus's nerves are about shot. His Boy is missing, I bet he hasn't slept since he found out Harry was MIA, and Snape and Fred are wasting time squabbling like boys. I think he's just scared and tired so the words come out harsh.
a_player @ August 20 2003, 18:49:43 UTC |
We're using what we can, but not the major stuff that would completely contradict our own canon. You know, like Dead!Sirius and Umbridge and 12 Grimmauld Place, and what have you.
Spells and such such as Occlumency, however, are far easier to work with and you'll see that stuff pop up from time to time.
:-)
babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 18:21:33 UTC |
I'm grateful that Snape is so cool-headed. The Weasleys mean well but are a very excitable bunch and Remus isn't going to pay much attention to matters outside the Disappearance of His Boy; he'll need someone to remind him to sleep and eat.
Snape also maybe the only thing standing between Lucius Malfoy and a mauling if he shows up. I'm not saying, either way, that Lucius has anything to do with Harry's situation, but it would be just like him to say something nasty.
babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 18:45:04 UTC |
I too hope that Lucius gets what he deserves. But I don't want it to be done in such a way that allows him to manipulate Narcissa emotionally; although I don't know if that is possible anymore.
Remus will have to be drugged or hit with a full-body-bind soon. He really is going to run himself into the ground. However, I think if he stops, he'll feel guilty. So he won't stop.
Maybe someone will owl Dumbledore for a heavy sedative and lace Remus's tea.
babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 19:01:52 UTC |
Maybe Snape will just post a poem about sleeping. ^_^
But whatever happens, it's very re-assuring that Remus has someone to look out for him; he always seems to be worrying about others and doesn't make time for himself.

:::mentally replays Col Brandon's Shakespeare recitation.::: Oh yeah. Mmmm. Now I feel better. :D
serpensortia @ August 20 2003, 17:03:40 UTC |
Yay for Fred! :D I guess no time's a bad time for odd word games then?
*is very pleased with herself*
anjaliesque @ August 20 2003, 17:20:15 UTC |
You were on top of things, all right. Hooray for word games! And is that a Fruits Basket icon I spy? :D
(parent)serpensortia @ August 20 2003, 17:34:41 UTC |
It is! :D *bounces* Another fan!
Anyhow...wonder if anyone will continue from where Fred's left off? For some reason I suspect not seeing as a) Harry is missing, far too busy and b) I can't think of a phrase that starts with Baby (but that might be lack of sleep. I should be in bed right now, but it's all took off).
anjaliesque @ August 20 2003, 17:37:49 UTC |
Baby doll? o_O But even if they somehow worked that in, 'doll' is a bit of a stickler. Seeing as Fred's post was a much later afternote to the first two, I too doubt that they'll continue it.
(parent)dragynville @ August 20 2003, 17:55:05 UTC |
Baby love? It would give the next one more options, if they continue it that is.
(parent)anjenue @ August 20 2003, 18:46:52 UTC |
Baby baby?
*gets flash of Britney Spears song and runs away screaming*
babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 19:15:53 UTC |
*pat, pat* It's OK.
Maybe she's just a Boggart and she'll go away if you just point and laugh.
babytyggeryss @ August 20 2003, 19:24:04 UTC |
I've always thought she looked funny with no make-up on.
You can over-come this.
noirenails @ August 21 2003, 00:01:27 UTC |
Britney must die. She's not even from hell, as hell is pretty exciting place, after all. Life would be boring if we didn't have hell. Britney is from Limbo (the place between life and death). Now that's an annoying place.
I think my computer is eating my brain cells...
noirenails @ August 21 2003, 07:39:01 UTC |
LoL I don't see why he wouldn't except such a reason.

Nobody's mentioned it yet, so I will - Charlie is far too cool. Why does he not have a journal? Why oh why oh why? *worships from afar* <3333
(parent)anjaliesque @ August 20 2003, 17:30:32 UTC |
I have a cousin just like Charlie- gangly, gay, and all about dragons and d00m. Just reading Charlie makes a person want to commit incest. :))
(parent)kat99999 @ August 21 2003, 00:09:56 UTC |
Eeee, Charlie is just- *giggles* I want to meet your brother!!
(parent)selene_rain @ August 21 2003, 02:05:05 UTC |
He comes up with the coolest conspiracy theories!
(parent)kat99999 @ August 21 2003, 09:42:37 UTC |
He does! And he's just so sweeet- I love the way he types and talks and is just.. aww! *MUCH love to Charlie's player, whoever you may be* I seriously squee whenever I see that dragon icon turn up, you know? lmao
(parent)selene_rain @ August 21 2003, 14:15:43 UTC |
Charlie is so adorable. He means well. Totally cute, with every post. And I'm glad you like the icon. I read what he said (...in a box IN A BOX) and I literally thought, "ooh, I must have that icon." I'm a free user, so I can only use three icons at a time, and 2/3 are NA-inspired. *sigh* This much effect and I've only been following NA for a week or two.
(parent)kat99999 @ August 21 2003, 15:29:01 UTC |
lmao, you will follow it for as long as it goes on now! It hooks you in so easily, I've been following it for a good few months now!
And yes, Charlie does mean well- he's just the sort of brother you would love to have - he's witty and caring and sweeet!
You should get a paid account - they're not too expensive, and much more fun! :-)
selene_rain @ August 21 2003, 23:15:26 UTC |
Ah, yeah, I would like a paid account. Problem: no money. But yeah, I know I'm hooked for life. No complaints.
(parent)dragynville @ August 20 2003, 17:52:56 UTC |
Who says N_A and nraged never collide? *grin*
<3 *luvvles the Ron and the Remus* <3
anjaliesque @ August 20 2003, 18:09:34 UTC |
They did, I thought- but not everyone can be right all the time. :D I think some subtle celebrating is in order, for the slight push in Ron's 'miraculous' idea. <3
(parent)dragynville @ August 20 2003, 18:23:13 UTC |
Well, I figure they'd probably already thought of it themselves, but it was really sweet of them to word it that way.
*huggles the Ron and the Remus* <3 <3 <3
blue_lightning @ August 20 2003, 22:13:08 UTC |
what Door is Remus referring to here?
Could it be that N_A is tying in the bit of canon concerning the door to the Department of Mysteries? Or is the Door something else?
Ideas?
anjenue @ August 20 2003, 22:40:26 UTC |
In the other thread, they said Neverwhere reference...
*grins and licks Neil Gaiman*
blue_lightning @ August 20 2003, 23:26:51 UTC |
good idea, methinks. however, Remus says he's got to see ABOUT a Door. Surely if it were a person he'd say he's got to start conversing WITH a Door?
(parent)saffronlie @ August 21 2003, 00:07:13 UTC |
Oh man, I missed the Weasleys. It's good to know they're on the case. :D
